We met him few years back at a indy event. He was at the merchandise table chatting to someone and my Mrs ran up behind him and started patting his back going Drew...Drew...Drew × a few hundred times, Finally he turned around and she got a pic with him.

Later that night she got a message from a pal saying go on Drews twitter.

5.5 hours was a tough 1, excluding the pre'show, but was worth it other than kurt angle bullshit

My girlfriend and I stayed up to watch it all, including the pre-show.

IMO it was rubbish! Once of the worst ever.

They need to go back to less PPV's, the 14 or 18 they run a year is pathetic and ruins momentum and the storytelling.

for me it was too long yeah...go back to 4 hours Max

Kurt angle...poor guy got a shirt final opponent

r-truth was time waste

the rest for me were good action packed matches. perhaps Miz / Shane was a bit much and Balor / lashley had a crap build up

I do agree that they should be cutting down how many ppv's per year

Nothing grabbed my interest, it was all the same matches that we see every week on the various shows.

They need to stop pushing the same folks over and over and give new or unknown people a chance. People just fall for who the WWE push even if they're not that great.

Are you playing games aimed at 12 and under?

And the last time I looked, Southpark was an adult cartoon.

Irrespective of age, I don't understand why anyone watches or follows it. My boys loved it when they were younger, had the toys, wrestling ring etc, but they don't now.

Dave its not wisdom im offering. Not trying to wind you up or say you shouldnt watch it, as in my original post, each to their own . Its just so false. Lol. I personally dont even see it as entertainment other than for kids that can have heros amongst the actors. My son in law is 30 and loves it . Maybe im missing something. lol

It's funny but EVERY forum I'm part of, any time a Wrestling subject comes up, there's always one of the usual comments;

"It's not real"

"It's for kids"

"Why are you watching this as an adult?"

People like what they like! Wrestling as it is nowadays is just a highly glamorised version of what used to be shown years ago on World of Sport, and that was watched by all ages.

Yea it's entertainment rolled up into a soap opera. It's why it's called Sports Entertainment.

There are some real athletes in it nowadays, it's not all big guys that get out of breath after 5 minutes and you can't deny from some of the injuries that they get, that it's all fake.

The owner of AEW is wanting to get Pro-Wrestling away from the image of it being fake and has given his signings a lot of the same T&C's as his NFL players. They actually care about their employees and what then to be healthy and fit.
