I spent my high school years listening to that music and going to gigs,I still love the 80s rock metal thrash music.

Spent many Sunday night's at the mosh pit at the venue in Edinburgh

I went to see iron maiden last year doing a classics set at Newcastle

Y’know what I always loved about rock clubs? They’ve always been friendly, welcoming and inclusive. No airs and graces.

Anywhere in the UK, in fact anywhere in Europe. Even worldwide. I have always known that I could walk into a rock club and feel at home. Make friends. Have a few drinks and a dance.

It’s a beautiful thing.

I bet it still works even though I’m now an old git.

Another one here. Just sorted tickets for The St Pierre Snake Invasion, Trivium/Bleed From Within, AA Williams and Funeral For A Friend. Outbreak and 2000 Trees festivals to come in July too, can't wait!

Beans on toast for the rest of the month for me! Haha!

Vintage rock chick here. Mostly go to small gigs - get a bit stressed at stadium stuff. This year I've been to Holding Absence, Rockmantic (mini festival) and Hell's Ditch.

Usually go to gigs in Edinburgh, Carlisle or Glasgow but travel further afield for the right band.

Just picked up tickets for Employed To Serve at Cathouse in October. Thoroughly recommended if you're into British thrash metal with a death metal influence. Supported Gojira on their recent tour

They definitely did. I honestly couldn't see how they'd top One Of Us Is The Killer but they did. Picked up a beautiful copy of Dissociation on vinyl. 2 LP, blue vinyl, logo etched on side D. It's one of my prized possessions

As the female counterpart I love black, death and doom metal. My other half is a dance nut... we are complete opposites when it comes to music!

However, he does join me when attending Bloodstock festival

Nice! We’re the opposite. Male is big into doom, death and post metal and female into dance but likes a bit of rock and has been to see Bossk, dvne and various other metal gigs with me in the past and loved it.
