why do people chat then ask for a pic then block you?

when you have done nothing cheeky or offensive?

if they know you why not just say and explain to you???

does my head right in

They seen your pic, dont like the look of you, blocked you to save them (and you) the trouble of mailing each other again.

wouldn't a simple message have sufficed ?

The gent in question has a verified profile and good feedback, seems to me a quick thanks but no thanks would have been a reasonable way to go ?

In an ideal world yes.

But many couples and females who probably started off sending out simple messages will get fed up the 'why not' and 'its your loss, your fat and ugly anyway' type come backs.

For the record we generally do reply. We don't block people, Jo has a good memory.

Youd be surprised just how much mail couples and no doubt single women on here get. Its very difficult to find time to reply to everyone.

Folk have lives away from here aswell so dont want to be spending the time they can manage on here placating folk they arent interested in meeting.

For us we dont bother replying to those who have paid no attention to our profile so that means anyone outwith our age range, not local or expecting a same day meet will generally be ignored.

Ok.....but as a single guy on here....it's very easy for single females and couples to say we get too many emails. my experience so far is that MANY of the single females on here are not friendly in the slightest....if I message them I pay attention to their criteria and am always polite and haven't given anyone abuse. But being constantly ignored and getting no replies is a pain!

I ask for a face pic, they send one, I dont find them shaggable, I say sorry not my type, then I get a message saying you dont know what your missing out on or I wouldnt have shagged your a fat slag, or please tell me why in detail why you I'm not your type.

Then a week later I get a message saying hi liked your pics (blanked out but hey ho) and they send me a pic, I say sorry you have messaged before and your still not my type and it goes on and on till the block function is used

This is why I sometimes dont reply after the pic phase.

I find it a bit rude sometimes, and there is no excuse for it. if the person has requested face pics, and you've sent them a message and pics not even having seen what they look like, and you've read their profile and you are within the parameters of what they are looking for, then I think it is common courtesy to at least say something and then block.

15 seconds. Lazy and inconsiderate. I don't care how many messages they get.

It always seems to be the single guy who has to stump up the face pics as well, owing to the obvious fact that we are ten a penny and everyone else can be choosy.

I don't mind the blocking, but the saying nothing is just plain rude. You might say that it gets a bit much with all the messages, but I can guarantee it's a lot less hassle than spending time drafting messages to people and getting knocked back every time. If a guy has gone out of his way to take time to write to you then a simple one line message is not asking much in return, and to not do so shows a lack of respect.

We also find alot of guys dont really go out their way at all. Its usually just the 1 liner which tbh we dont mind, its when you get the same 1 liner from the same blokes over and over as theyve forgotten who theyve sent it to. And worse still the guys with the stock message they send to everyone.1 told us hed really like to meet us as he loved our pics. Yeah? Howd u manage that then when you hadnt seen them??

Fair enough, but if they have made a bit of an effort and you have had the time to read it don't you think it's only fair to extend the same courtesy back and send a quick reply saying no thanks?
