I used to love going in and asking for two ounces of midget Gemms, cherry lips or some other jelly and two ounces of soor plooms or clove rock..

My sherbert lemon shower gel has had few complaints.. (OK it's flash lemon kitchen cleaner but wtf.)

All of the above

Then add in

Cough drops

Chelsea whoppers

Those wee Nutella cups with the plastic spoon and pretty much every other sweet in the jar

Measured out the jar onto the scales straight into a paper bag where if you were lucky all was OK but if there was the slightest bit of moisture in the air the bad stuck to the sweets so you eat the sweet with chunk of bag stuck to it

Absolutely.. But I can't afford the posh stuff and flash makes me squeaky clean.. Or. Maybe that's just age and my joints.

Soor plooms or jazzies! There was a wee sweetie shop that just had rows of jars of sweets behind a counter near where I grew up and it was amazing! No idea if it's still there... Need to have a look next time I'm out that way

Sports mix with the liquorice ones none of this black currant rubbish. But penny sweets there are so many. Black Jacks are a fav. But sitting here skull crushers come to mind. They were like white mice but skulls with like this red but through them
