Join a dating site, I joined tinder and bumble(and not having much luck on either),

with bumble it's down to the woman to make first contact so it makes it a little easier to cut down on weirdos

It’s a hard thing to do these days. It’s all apps or you date people from your friends circle.

Can still go out on a night out and meet people that way

Good luck OP. I was having a wee moan a few weeks ago about the lack of interaction between men and women on a night out now. Folk don't seem to flirt or have banter like we did back in the day. If I was looking to meet someone that is how I'd want to do it, out in real life, not a dating site.

I've tried the whole meeting at bars thing but most of the time the girls look fed up with strange guys approaching them or guys get reduculously territorial and tbh I genuinely can't be bothered with that drama so I tend to just stick with my mates and have a laugh.

I've done the dating apps, speed dating, singles events, meeting in real life. The problem these days is FOMO.

In yrs gone by your access to other singles was by and large limited by geography...it was friends of friends, people u knew locally or people you worked with.

Now with so many options people dont want to settle down with someone less than perfect (even though they are far from perfect themselves).

I'm 6 yrs since my last long term relationship.... and I now feel I will never find what I want in one man. And right now I'm not prepared to compromise myself.

I'm not a swinger, what brought me to fab was a quest for kink. I find I tend to meet men who are kinky and dont want to date (fomo) or men who want to date who have low sex drives or no interest in kink.

While settling for one of those two types could be an option both wouldnt be good for me long term.

I've met 2 men on here one I was engaged to and one progressed from a fwb to a relationship. I find it difficult to get out as I'm a single mum who works full time haha. No time to myself let alone to actually meet people haha x
