If you are apprehensive, take along someone who has been there before. He can show you the ropes. As with Edinburgh there is only one in Glasgow: Pipeworks, in the lane opposite Slaters. Tuesday is a 2-for-1 day.

You need to bring ID and buy an annual membership (£6) on your first visit That's all explained on their web site.

Entrance charge is £15, but that includes free tea or coffee (coffee is good).

There is no pressure to act sexually if you do not want to - just politely nod or say no if you do not want to take up an invitation to play. If you just want to enjoy the facilities, you can do so without being bothered. But if you go into the dark room, where the sling is located, prepare for things to sometimes get a touch full-on, including bareback action. Condoms are supplied throughout the premises, so stay safe!

There are no swinger-friendly mixed saunas in Scotland, if that is what you are looking for.

Years ago I went to the sauna in Glasgow with a male friend more for support than anything I actually had an amazing bight and haven’t laughed so much in my life my friend I think was scarred somewhat Hahahaha I think it took him a while to finally pluck up the courage to go be curious elsewhere after that night
