I remember back in the day when we'd just call that a mutt

Personally love chows but they do require more time and space than we've got so we've not got any pets at all

We'd never had one before. We'd had a fantastic Lab/Colly cross who was the best family dog we could imagine. She had to be put down and we couldn't bear the idea of replacing her. But you know how it is with dogs, it's difficult to go without for very long and this one became available. She is such a sweet, wonderful nature and just really lovely.

i don't have a fav breed, but i do tend to go for larger breeds, not keen on ankle biters. I currently have a Malamute/Husky cross that i rescued, i was told she wasn't keen on guys as it was brought up and owned by a woman, but i think in a past life i must have been the dog whisperer, she has been glued to my side since i took her on, and keeps me company when the kids are not here. in the past i have had GSD's, and Rottweilers, all great dogs as long as you bring them up right and establish boundaries. No such thing as a bad dog, only bad owners.

Love them all. Chihuahuas, poms and pekingese are adorable little critters. Staffies, boxers and dogue de bordeaux are among the friendliest breeds I've experienced. Gotta love a sweet mongrel too.

Newton Stewart

Got a short legged, long nosed, long tailed terrier - otherwise known by some as a crocodile. But seriously, have always had Jack Russells. Loyal, feisty, playful, intelligent with boundless energy. Such personalities too.

Rottweiler my very first dog was a pedigree and was an amazing boy. Pretty stupid but a big loyal and loving lump of fur. Lost him a couple of years ago My girl is a rottie/staffie and is Clydes shadow. She's full of love and affection for everyone she meets.
