Face pic 1st message

I see alot of profiles that say similar to "send a face pic or i won't reply". Very often from a profile with no facepic themself

What are peoples' thoughts on that? While i know people can do what they want to out wasted time, surely for the sake of privacy and discretion its a tad harsh? I'd rarely send a facepic 1st message but gladly would after an initial reply

People can ask for what they like...up to you whether you want to pander to it or not. Some folk like to cut straight to the chase and fair play to them.

I can understand the reason why they want to see early on, it saves chatting to someone for a while then you see their face and you aren't attracted to them but this isn't really the kind of place most people want to show everyone.

It's not something I would demand straight away and I wouldn't send a picture so quickly.

I don’t send one till I’m comfortable. It’s a bit meh when someone sends one with initial message and pretty much demands one back they usually just get deleted. No where on my profile does it say must send face pics

I have to say I ask for a face pic, and usually will send it back straight off. It just is a way to sort out who I'm connecting with and who to invest time in. If you don't want to send one then no skin off my nose, just move on!

Never send them until we know the profile is 100% genuine and we def going to meet.

After due diligence on a profile that catches my eye I’m happy to attach a face pic.

Some reciprocate, some patch me.

I tend to swerve the “must do” “must send” *must jump” profiles.
