Men in kilts.

Yum.....but apart from that....

To the men on here, how do you feel about "inappropriate" female attention when wearing a kilt? Out in town last night and a few guys in the pub had kilts on. One handsome big bugger was swinging his stuff on the dance floor and a woman (unknown to him I believe) lifted up his kilt and exposed his arse to the pub. The big fella laughed it off but I personally thought it was out of order.

So does it bother you? Or do you lap up the attention?

Yeah, that kind of behaviour is a big no from me. I get that a saucy discussion might lead to someone being invited to “find out” what’s under a kilt in the style of Krackerjack - in which case carry on (mindful of surroundings - your audience may not want to see groping, etc.) but if uninvited, then nope.

In this day and age I would have to say totally unacceptable.

If it was done to a woman there would be no debate.

Exactly. Been subject to all sorts of groping on works nights out before, Christmas parties the worst. Wouldn't like to imagine the female outcry or disciplinary action id face if I returned the favour.

Unacceptable. I recall there was a cafe in Glasgow or Edinburgh that up until last year had kilts as uniform but had to ditch them as male staff were continually being harrassed by females.

As much as I love a man in a kilt.

That's totally shocking behaviour

How can a female say she want treated the same as men but then go and do something like that?

Should be an offence as switch it round and the guys up in the dock getting put on the sex register!

Totally agreeing with the majority - completely unacceptable. If it had happened to a woman there would have been legal action and rightly so!

It should be treated exactly the same way as if it was a guy lifting a woman's skirt.

It’s bang out of order at my works annual function everyone try’s to avoid 1 particular female as she always wants to “make sure” you’re going traditional.

If I was to do the same to her guaranteed I’d either be locked up and/or out a job.

It seems that people can hide behind the “Uch it’s only a laugh” and if you complain you get branded a snowflake.

As I've seen many saying the same is if the tables were turned and it was a Male doing that to a female he would have been spending the night in the local jail but its acceptable if a women check under a guys kilt. Personally I don't mind the attention but I would afronted if a female lifted up my kilt to check in a pub.

Went on a bit I think lol

Happened to me down at MCM London a few years back, went to big organised party type thing. Happened twice and both times I called them out on it and both times I was told "I'm only having a laugh don't be so serious" asked them what they would do if I lifted their skirts to everyone around and was told they would get me done for sexual harassment... They still didn't seem to understand why I was annoyed I was "clearly not interested in female attention".

Sure in this day and age it’s inappropriate to do anything like that - does upskirting include a kilt? Me personally would laugh it off, If I didn’t want my arse on show Id wear boxers under it.

If you want to see inappropriate when it was okay look up Stanley Baxter on YouTube ????

It's the fact they didn't ask, if they came up and asked if I was a "true Scotsman" or whatever and depending on where I am I will more than happily offer to let them check. But when your having a conversation and suddenly your arse is bare or feel a hand cupping your balls... To me that's not on.

I can have a laugh with it if they ask and I'm expecting it.

Once Had guy try to lift my kilt because his girlfriend asked him if I was a true Scotsman that was on a street during the day with kids about thankfully that was a day I was wearing boxers.

To me consent is key in these situations.

Absolutely. Also consent of any bystanders, who may not want flashed - even if it is a result of third party intervention!
