Fairly sure this will have affected other members but does it annoy you when other people appear to have no basic manners?

I have had a few messages from some members basically asking how im doing, where im from, etc. all pretty normal stuff. However i've then received follow up messages asking what my problem is, why ive not replied.. and so forth(normally not as polite as that).

Being able to check if someone's read your message or not is a basic function on this site - therefor if you can see i've not read your first one dont follow up with abuse as to why ive not replied.

Not sure if anyone else has experienced this but its just been annoying me. I have for example, received 5 messages in the one day from one member(none of which id actually read) which is borderline creepy!

i am afraid...irgnorance...bad manners....keyboard warriers etc are part n parcel of most sites ......

block n move on...

if they abusice report block and move on....

Happens all the time i had one who mailed me i read but was in chat and thought il reply when i come out of chat ...in the meantime he'd mailed back saying he noticed id read his email but hadnt replied but that he wouldnt meet a fat and probably ugly bitch anyway lol yes there are some charmers on here look out for them ...and yes i did report and block lucky escape eh lol

thats horrible!! hes probably just gutted that he doesnt get anyone messaging him!

thats happened to me if im on chat ill decide to check my mail later and in the mean time ill have messages like "your on chat but havent replied?" desperation!

I notice all the chat on this thread is from all you wonderfull ladies, and quite rightly so in my eyes. However, I have had similar experiences with some of the not so wonderful ladies. I am sure that it happens to the women on here more than the guys though. Just throwing my view in for balance here.

Happens all the time to me and I just block them. My block list is pages and pages. So many rude tossers its very sad. Still the good ones make it all worthwhile

Or,,,report, dont block, sometimes better to keep an eye on the enemy and if their a persistant git,, their kinda hanging themselves, not sure how often you can report right enough.

all very true folk far from sticking up for anyone, it also has to be pointed out , the deleted emails with no responce, even a simple thanks for the email but no thanks your not for me/us responce doesnt cost any one anything , and while im having my wee rant (sorry folks) why do females put on a profile no pict no responce and they dont have a pict up themselves , it beats me ?

ok put urself in a females shoe u get between 50 to 100 emails a day sometimes more say your only intrested in 10 of then would you reply to every email you got ? Yes we know it only polite to reply buy guys just need to take at read that when you dont get a reply we aint intrested.

Read a mail on my phone and decided to answer after getting home from work.Got home after midnight to a nasty mail from the couple about ignoring them etc and other completely over the top accusations.I thought I should mail and explain, then, my brain kicked in and said "F--K them" block and move on, life to short to waste on arseholes!

If you reply to every email, then at a later date decide to block all males for instance for whatever reason personal to yourself, the ones that you said 'no thanks' to in the first place can still mail you! That's why I don't reply unless I am genuinely interested. And the other night I replied to a guy shorter than me with a no thanks you're too short, and got an abusive email back in return saying I was shallow etc. Reason why I don't see short men explained.......very fed up of this site at the moment and clinging on with my fingertips!

Wish there was a box you could tick saying 'not interested in meeting ANYONE at moment as I have more than enough to keep me going till I am 50!' But you gotta tick one of the boxes.....

)

There's a huge pattern forming, single Fems and a lot of couples get so many emails they can't seriously reply to every single one, for obvious reasons plus the one I have mentioned

whilst single guys will moan and rant about not getting replied...it's a vicious circle but my thoughts are whinging about it isn't going to make girls and couples reply more often....X

couldnt agree more, we try to always reply with as you pointed out, the good old thanks but no thanks but that normaly leads to oh why not and then 20 odd msgs trying to convince us said person is the god of sex and have to meet them? Em... no lol

Also age limits!!! Ahhh. When we get a msg from some one older and we say thanks but our age limit... ect it leads to one of three outcomes 1. Thanks for the msg (fairplay, there being polite) 2. But i dont look my age? ( how does that change anything) 3. oh thats a mistake on my profile im really...( ok then, not born yesterday)

I could go on but as its been said.... block and move on... soz for the rant guys but had to sick my 1p in.

Our view is to reply all unless it is obvious they have not read our profile.

A simple "thanks but not what we are looking for" usually suffices. we don't reply to any follow up messages. Persistant msgs leeds to a block. simples

I get plenty of emails that are read and deleted, some maybe saved for a later reply, and some that I get a response to.

A lot of guys don't realise how many mails women and couples get sometimes, and the rest just think they're god's gift and should be delivered a shag the instant they contact someone as all you're doing is waiting for their one email

The block button was created with those idiots in mind.

i agree completely with that, ive sent back "thanks but im not interested" to which most guys are like thanks for replying, however ive had a few that respond "why whats wrong with me?" etc.. folk should accept that everyones into different things and accept when someone says no

or you get called fat and ugly etc, I was called fat pretty recently. Decided not to block as it won't be long before I get a "hey how are you" again.

I know it might seem rude and might be horrible seeing all these deleted emails in your sent box guys ( happens to us all) but it really does save the high possibility of getting shite off people when they are told no xx (iv been saying the word shite all day haha) xx

I don't understand how you can expect someone to meet you (or more) if you abuse them. I feel for those of you, especially the ladies, who have been subject to personal abuse about your appearance or personality.

I don't think any sensible male on here would object to a system that allowed such abusers to be thrown off the site. As a halfway house maybe after one warning they would have to leave credit card details so they could be fined for the next misdemeanour. That might stop them.

Could be an idea to do what they do with the forums and chatrooms. People have timed bans from them if they are rude, nasty etc. A timed ban on sending messages if you are found to be sending abusive messages or abusive replies might be something that would work? Not just to single guys though as there are plenty of rude girls and couples out there xx

Is there not a report button? Just report the email and admin can deal with it.

Just can't understand why someone would go to the lengths of sending a snotogram just because their email wasn't replied to, it's almost akin to firebombing an office because you didn't get an interview (saying that.. pretty sure it's been done too lol)

The funniest thing is they never last long and always leave reinventing thems selfs a few weeks later and have the cheek to email you again and ask for a meet sending you the same pics they did in the first place and when you question if they have been in here before they say no whats that all about they realy do think women are daft lol.

There must be a style of message, where bye you sense that if you even reply, they are'nt so much going to chat, more,,"pounce" and go at you, is that right?

Can totally understand why folks would opt to ignore/delete under those circs.

But are there jekyl n hydes? They start nice and turn into predatory buggers the next minute? That must be tricky to anticipate.

some you just know by the first email and others are like you say start off all nice but if uve not agreed to meet them within half a dozen text get all arsey with you .

But every so often amongst all the, bad, predatory,predictable,nasty stuff comes a decent, fun, friendly one that suddenly makes it worthwhile being on here?

I'm not point proving here, genuinely would like to know the ratio of good v bad, its very easy for folks to add to the "offt single guys,terrible" thing and i see why, totally.
