Yeah don't make any kind of moves unless your 100% sure, and even then I'd wait on her. Also depends on how much you value the friendship as obviously it would change it if anything happened. Would some fun be worth the friendship ?

Have you been invited before ? or is this invite out of the blue

She trained with me 10 years ago, minimal contact since, but having dinner and drinks and staying over!!

Think you might be looking at it in the wrong way. If any of my friends id not spoken to invited me round for a gab, food and offered to let me stay in the spare room I'd be looking forward to a cracking night of catching up, not the slight possibility of sex x

Agree with above posts, enjoy catching up with your friend. Go with the flow and see where the evening takes you both. Sound's like she wants to catch up over a drink or two and was kind enough to offer you a room for the night but hey you neve know where things might go.
