We all know there are people who don’t see eye to eye on the forums, some it would appear deliberately try and get a rise out of others for whatever reason and others who tell that many lies but sadly don’t have the memory to remember what they have previously posted.... do you have the self control to pass by every thread these people start/comment on or is it like the “don’t touch wet paint” sign where you just can’t help yourself ?

There are folk that I like more than others on here but no one that I genuinely cannot stand. I'm the same on here as I am in real life insofar as I'll give folk a wide bearth if they're getting on my tits. Why waste time on an arsehole?

i used to enjoy coming in and winding up those that i knew were trying to wind someone else up, but it was too easy at times and it got boring. Now i just browse and shake my head and move on to the next post.

I'll comment if something interests me, and I have an opinion on it. I don't look at who's posted the comment that I may be responding to but occasionally people seem to take offence as they seem to think the it's a witch hunt or that someone disagrees with their opinion.

I am guilty of being dismissive of peabrains who can't think for themselves and steam into a debate in defence of their fab friends with no particularly valid point but just make a lot of noise in an effort to white knight.

somewhere nowhere near you....

I dont post much or comment much either,i like reading the posts which interest me...a lot i laugh at and a lot have me shaking my head whispering'what a load of shit'....sometimes i nearly bite my tongue off....but id end up getting bollocked and its just not worth it.

In response to the OP’s thread my general rule of thumb is ignore wannabe trolls - it drives em crazy witholding what they crave. They’ll soon move on looking for new prey from those less experienced.

I also tend to think we all come on here & do what we feel is right for us to either attract the desired attention either from an individual or a group. Sometimes we adapt & grow, other times we don’t. Most move on from craving that attention or little dopamine drop that brings us here.

Most even evolve from their original “persona” as their experience evolves on Fab. Sometimes they’ll even change tact entirely, or post what may appear to contradict a previous post. We all have the right to change our minds, our outlook, & hopefully grow towards a more positive experience of social media.

Personally, I think today’s social media can have positive rewards, but can also be an outlet for others to scream. Sometimes the screams are worthy, but mostly it can be reduced to nothing more than attention seeking behaviour that our parents wouldn’t tolerate - so why should we if we’re now supposed to be the adults?

Gravitate towards those who bring you a bit of joy & completely ignore those who prefer to bring misery. Hopefully that way we all find the types we are looking for & the good will outweigh the bad.
