Do we really want any more debates in the scottish forums?

Are they just a platforms to start rivalry and arguments or is it good to see others opinions on contentious subjects and have civilised debates to support our own viewpoint

Some love to argue

Some love to feel superior

Some love a real debate

Some are utter knobs....

Others like me don’t give a fuck either way lol

I’d rather see a good old fashioned pistols at dawn debate on here with the usual people getting offended, the regular trollers, argumentative ones and the rest than more of those snog fuck avoid threads!

They are just a wee bit nicer than some of these volotile,loaded ask type threads that you take one look at and decide to ban yourself from because you instantly know the usual suspects are going to be tripping over themselves with the usual point proving.

I had never got involved in these forums on any site until I joined FabSwingers , I'm glad I got involved in here I like it. I get more replys in here than I get to messages on the site lol ,poor me

Sorry.. I. Misread the question .. It's good to debate, the issue is when people can't accept that someone else has a different point of view to then or they see that someone else has made a valid point and rather than accept it or be mature enough to re evaluate their position in the light of it they get arsey and personal.. As someone said.. If you can't be mature scroll on.. Or go to different thread... Someone told me there is a really good one containing a mcflurry.

You don’t need a titled debate to start an argument on the forum, you just need a topic and that’s what the forum is all about surely?

I think it's good to read the opinions of others, sometimes it makes you think about things from a different angle and sometimes you just read it and think “twit”

Of course, it's easy to spot who doesn’t get on with each other and then you notice who supports whoever but that always happens with a group of people.

There will always be rivalry on Fab and in my opinion, all debates or forum posts won't always be civilised but like others have said, you don’t need to read them.

I do think though that we still should have these debates as I have nothing else to do when I'm on my break at work
