Maybe because what they're looking for on pof is different to what they're looking for here? A swinging site profile should be very different to a dating site profile....

Good question and I think I know where you are heading with this. The profiles tend to be looking for proper dating, romance and future long term relationships but when I get the messages they are looking for meets which is fine by me.Think its just another way of looking for folk else where or maybe looking for meets until they do find true romance etc .

i use both sites, and generally have better meets from the other. Simply because the guys try to pretend their interested in a bottle of wine / dvd before the sex

I joined POF long before joining here. Sent many messages to men who either ignored me or told me I was a fat/ugly/undatable munter.

I met 2 guys on pof, the first one I met a couple of times and is lovely, gave me the address for fab. The second guy I now see and we are a couple on here!

I got blocked from sending messages to certain females because I mailed a few that were looking for intimate encounters. I wasn't even looking for an intimate encounter, THEY WERE!

Technically I was looking for an intimate encounter, but i was using it for romantic dating, which I also want.

Sorry for being a human being with feelings POF but you can go stick your site and all your fake profiles up your arse. It's not as bad as zoosk though, at least some of the profiles are real and you don't have to give your credit card details out.

I too use both sites and find it much easier to talk with the girls on there maybe its because theres a clearer face pic of me on there which was rejected on this site POF is lots of fun but Fab will be far better its difficult to get chatting on here but just makes me more determained to be part of it

I to have a profile on both sites , have not had much interaction with people from pof but did date one guy for three months before coming on here the first time, would say many messages i recieve on both sites are very similar, and i think its human nature to want to be loved as well as fucked, in which ever order it comes in.

I'm on both as well. Obviously for different reasons. I've actually made some lovely friends from both but the friends I made on pof are not of the sexy times variety. I love chat and I get more of that on pof.

Both have their advantages and disadvantages, both have genuinely lovely people and wasters. But then, you get that anywhere.

Second time it's happened to me there, first day this woman emails me and we get chatting and arrange a meet on saturday. Then silence, so I'm getting a bit suspicious, and so I message her again today, she replies. An hour later the profile gets deleted..

It's not fucking on this, playing with peoples lives man, building up peoples hopes.

POF is used for allsorts in the choices you can choose ,intimate encounters/hangout /activity partner/friends/ dating with no commitment ect or go for the full blown looking for marriage catagories .Just depends on how people want to seperate their lives I suppose.

Yeah I use Pof. I'm single and would love to be in a relationship. I wouldn't say that I was a full swinger on it cause I think that might put them off or perhaps might turn them on who knows.

Well what if you met your ideal partner on POF, how would you explain that you enjoy swinging as a pastime? I wouldn't know how, or would be uncomfortable in case of a bad reaction.

Mind you, it seems a lot of people of POF aren't too fussed about dating, only I have not had a date off there for a while.

But I have had 3 FAB meets in the last couple of months despite the gents outnumbering the ladies by a large margin. Seems that casual is the new thing lol
