Insulting one half of a couple...

Jump to newest

By (user no longer on site) OP

I’m all for swapping face pics of us as a couple, and if the other profile isn’t interested and say “sorry, you/your man isn’t my type” that’s absolutely fine, don’t take offence and we move on...

But...when I send a pic and they reply with “are you sure he’s 32? Looks like he’s had a very hard paper round” I find that pretty insulting! Or is that just me? I also feel I should delete the message so my man doesn’t read it as this can have quite a knock in confidence..

Not being funny but if actually said this to guys before.

Never saw your partner but so many guys do lie about their ages and when they get called out on it admit it.

I'd have laughed it off and said aye it's living with me that's done it!

So only you and the other couple knew this but you decide to share on a forum ! Why worry about what strangers on a sex site say, I think you need to grow a thicker skin tbh

Was just a general question I asked...

As I said, we accept when others don’t find one of us or both attractive, just don’t see the need to be ‘rude’ about it.

Put his face up as your profile pic and we can decide if the comment was warranted

Only kidding....I'd just think "cheeky bastard" but move on. No point in splitting hairs over a total stranger's opinion.

Your only on 4 weeks, give it 4 months you will be taking those kind of let downs as a compliment. As said just laugh it off or get gobby like doggy. Her man was a paper delivery boy when he entered doggys garden. She sunk her teeth in and hes never escaped.

We’ve been on here nearly a year but I started off as a single profile for ff fun

I get what everyone’s saying, just wondering what thoughts people had and if I was being too ‘offended’ by it...

We have had your man is not our type, or female half is attracted to your partner.

I find it more cheeky, after all we are taught it's what on the inside that counts.

I have spoke to a few guys that weren't lookers but oh my they knew what they were doing!

So everyone should be giving the chance even if it's a social first you might feel different after that.

Sorry I disagree.... if we are not attracted to them we will not waste our time or their time meeting for a social.

I'm with the above..

No initial attraction no point meeting.

Not here to meet friends for coffee?.

It's a sex site after all.

I genuinely think that if you are the kind of person who worries about what people think then Fab probably isn’t the best place to be!

That's the issue with messages - no way to convey tone. Could have been a dick, could have been a joke. No way to know really. At least they replied! we've had a few that have disappeared after a face pic. It's just what happens. We've done the same

Some people think it’s acceptable to be rude on here - they’d never even think of saying something like that to someone in person

Just block them & move on

Being honest OP , yes i think you are being to offended. Dont let it spoil your fun on here. You wont play with some husbands from the couple and say so , i bet the feelings are similar to him no matter how you let someone down whether gently or by a joke. Guys on Fab know they wont be everyones cup of tea . Laugh it off, block and move on. X

It’s disgusting.

There’s no need to for anyone to be like that.

Just delete the message and block the person.

Just block and move on. If hubby trusts your judgment to block someone for whatever reason then there's no need to let him know why. Or if you want reminded why then add a private note reminding you about the offensive/disrespectful person

Just ignore it.

The rudeness of some on here used to really piss me off when we first joined, now I just let it go over my head.

The longer you're here, the more you realise that there are more genuinely decent folk than there are idiots.

Don't let the small minority spoil your fun.
