Hi all. We are staying in the centre of Edinburgh this March for the Scot v Wales 6 Nations game. First time for us to visit your beautiful city. Any tips, recomendations or suggestions for us tourists? Will be there for 3 nights.

Thanks

Pubs: Grassmarket for noisy youngsters, George Street if you are feeling flush, Stockbridge would be my choice.

Food: Mussel Inn for a bargain, The Kitchen for a treat, Bread Meats Bread for a burger.

Clear the head walk: Arthurs Seat.

Best day trip: train to North Berwick.

Make the most of it and hope the humping we give you on the pitch doesnt spoil it

I am confident the next few years will see Scotland up there with Ireland as the teams to beat, Wales and France mid table and England and Italy propping it up, can but dream.

Happy to take a wager on the result, Wales win and the drinks are on me, Scotland and they are on you two

Wow. Dead posh and certainly central. Btw, there’s a swingers club here too open Friday and Saturday. After 8 it’s called. After your Murrayfield humping, you can pop in there for some more.

Get in early to the fan village, then just before the gates open head over to the stadium fence gate and when it opens head to the Up and Under bar. Great atmosphere both before and after the game and a player or 2 always drop in for a sing song. Enjoy whatever the result.
