As above it is a fashion.....And with most fashion it suits the young and the slim...I think after a certain age we find our own style that suits our body shape and our pockets...Ripped jeans? not for me in fact i do not own any denims at all nowadays

There was a guy in front of me at the petrol station the other week...mid 40's like me and wearing ripped jeans and a t-shirt 2 sizes wee for him. Not a bad looking guy either but could have looked so much better.

I have a Cpl o pair or jeans with some rips but yeah when younger, 25 year ago, I wore them causally usually with a shirt or nice casual top.

I remember a new manager taking charge of our professional team and he said he didn't want any guys coming to games with official shirt n tie n trousers etc.. and wanted us to go casual.

After coming back from holiday I was very dark tanned so I went to one game with a white shirt, and ripped denim trousers on both thighs, (ripped ages ago myself). He went auff his nut and tried to fine me, seriously, but told him is he said causal, I said well this is my casual. Needless to say with his views, he didn't last long in the job but don't think they ripped jeans wur to blame.

Ripped jeans are good casual but ages in them does name a difference. I do hate skinny jeans but my son loves em

yeah as explained before, think they are cool and part of our society to stay, like them with a shirt or nice casual top but the older you get the harder to pull off.

I will ask do you also think there's a difference to getting away with ripped jeans if they are light or dark jeans.

I think the dark ones are easier to get away with.

I feel the older a person gets the less chance of pulling it off and looking like a munter but there are a few oldies who can and look good wearing them
