I'm sure someone told me that CJs is checked by Police every so often, is this true so I'm sure they have went through all the official documents and legislations required by the local authorities etc..

So there not what you would class as underground establishments , just that you never seem to notice them in the commercial part off the property register , plus would you go to your bank with a business proposal stating it was a Swinging club you where trying to open plus the same to the Council.

We went to Business Gateway with a plan for Swinging club/Fetish club.

You need a Sex Licence and Entertainment licence and appropriate insurances. You need to tell the police what is going on so it does not get mistaken for a Brothel. Its all fairly straight forward Good luck with it

cheers for the sensible reply and an inside to how you get it off the ground , it's not something I will be doing but have always been curious about how they start , must be a more relaxed system in England if you go by the amount they have compared to Scotland and I have a friend who says the English ones are like amazing with the things they have within the premises or Bars , Restaurant Sauna's etc

Venue is key, ideally you want to either be isolated which up there can be an easy fix say a whole house airBnB or rent and live in a decent sized house,

Depends on your available finances I guess beds with a decent base or make solid bases, lots of clean bedding sets, mattress protectors towels or if you can afford it rubber mattresses (if you’re renting ad hoc then you really need to be careful damage etc

Decent washing machine and tumble dryer or more if you can, carpet cleaner

So many cleaning products as well

Bathrooms ideally more than one and a few toilets

A decent kitchen to provide refreshments

Sound system or tv etc

Start small a few parties decide your contribution or charge of you intend on running as an official business( in which case local authority approval, public liability insurance, fire certificates etc)

By no means would it be easy or cheap and would be quite a while before a club would really make money or have any regular clientele tbh probably run at a loss initially I’d imagine unless you invested a shit ton of money at it and went all out and kitted it right up and went the whole way furbing it up
