The only US involvement in 9/11 was their sheer incompetence.

Basically, never assume a conspiracy where sheer incompetence would produce the same results.

For every theory on 9/11 science can debunk it.

People will always believe what they want to believe though , which is why they are such great topics . Researching your viewpoint can be good too. The more you dig the stronger you convince yourself your opinion is the right one lol.

Whilst I accept your point that's a slippery slope....There needs to be more personal accountability for health, definitely, but I think the government can be trusted with fuck all.

Isn’t a big part of that down to lower tech back then compared to now? And probably less in the way of safety regulations, or whatever terminology might apply to something like NASA.

Where are you even getting these timescales of six months and ten years from?

20 seconds on Google says the first Apollo test flight took place in August 1966, nearly three years before they landed on the moon.

Presumably a modern craft to get to the moon now would be, by orders of magnitude, more expensive and technologically advanced and so presumably take longer to plan and develop.

More expensive yes, why more technically advanced, apparantly they have already done it. Just copy that exact technology with more reliable parts. The car has never really changed has it. You’re either being unbelievably naive or are just a WUM.

No, a modern car is not just like the original T Ford “with better safety features”, and suggesting that NASA should jystctecreate the original Apollo crafts from the 60s to go to the moon 60 years later is patently ridiculous.

You didn’t say where you got the six months from?

Do you also believe the Space Shuttle was a hoax? It didn’t even go to the moon, but took a lot longer than six months to design, test and get into orbit.

Your space shuttle question is just there to give you a bit more credibility same as your car point. A model t ford had an engine , 4 wheels , a steering wheel, brakes , windows . Is that any different from todays cars i wonder. And again i never said use an Appollo craft , my obvious point is they had the technology in the 60s all the principles of it are the same just like a cars principles are the same. But with better technology. The Americans struggled to get the technology to get a man on the moon then suddenly the russians put a man in space and the yanks said they will not beat us to the moon. Suddenly they had the technology. Mmm

Well, yes, that’s why I mentioned it. I’m not sure you’re winning any argument by pointing out the obvious, while completely sidestepping the question!

"A model t ford had an engine , 4 wheels , a steering wheel, brakes , windows . Is that any different from todays cars i wonder."

Well, I’d say the engine, which is arguably the most important part of what makes a car work compared to windows and steering wheels, has changed enormously in 100 years.

"And again i never said use an Appollo craft , my obvious point is they had the technology in the 60s all the principles of it are the same just like a cars principles are the same. The hubble telescope , the most powerfull telescope ever, can see galaxies far far away but cant pick up left debrit on the moon so nasa say. Have you seen the images of the lander on the moon ? No thrust crater as it slowed to land. Or did it just have great shock absorbers and fall onto the moon.

I’m not going to waste any time arguing over the easily debunked moon shite above, especially the Hubble nonsense.

But hell, if people really want to think that it was all a hoax, consisting of about 100 rocket launches/attempted launches starting in 1958, where the tens of thousands who worked on the Apollo program have kept quiet all this time, then knock yourself out.

You might also want to add a Sydney University copyright image disclaimer to the end of your profile too.

Not really. It was only enough radiation to do you harm if you were exposed to it over a period of days. But they weren’t.

Exact same way people can be exposed to radiation when they have x-rays. The dose is too small to be dangerous.

Not even enough to cause dust to be blown up while landing then resettle on the landers feet , which were clear of any moon dust in the pictures . Maybe they done a wee dust before setting up the cameras. First mrs mop on the moon so to speak. I get there can be lots of conspiracy theories most are a lot of shit but NASAs own comments say its not a simple mission, even with todays far superior technology yet it was done back in the 60s during a space race. Race being a key word, like the Americans or anyone would never cheat to win a race. Russians doping springs to mind, or is that just a conspiracy theory too as a country like Russia would never have state sponsored doping eh. ?

There’s plenty ‘debunking’ of why the moon hoax is utter nonsense. The tedious repetition of them here by Fab scientific and physics experts doesn’t make them any more true.

Even Van Allen himself debunked the radiation nonsense. Plus you might want to read up on moon dust and how it is electrified by solar winds....and what effect that has and problems it causes too.

NASA says they’ve ‘lost’ radiation tech? God. All. Mighty. Try ‘cost effective’ instead. All the technology knowledge gained has been used for future space travel.

Unfortunately people love to get excited that they ‘know’ something which other people don’t, whereas the truth is always far more mundane. Is it easier to accept the ‘simple’ Youtube conspiracy theories rather than the much more complex (and interesting) science?

I don’t rant much. Pretty laid back but this sort of pish gets right in my diddies!

Before we ‘debate’ however, I have a very strict test I need you to pass first:

1. Is climate science all just made up and it’s ‘part of a natural cycle’ on which man has no impact?

2. On a clear sunny day, when you see planes flying overhead, contrails or chemtrails?

3. Vaccination and MMR. Good or bad?

4. 9/11. Who was responsible?

5. Paul McCartney. Dead or alive?

Huge, multiple missions, even after they’d achieved it!

The Astronauts that went.

The multiple, global tracking stations.

The samples

The mirrors left on the moon

The Chinese revisit a couple of years ago

The thousand upon thousands of people plus supply chain who haven’t ‘come out’ about it.

Are you telling me the flimsy hoaxer ‘evidence’ is more likely than any of the above? Seriously?

It’s a bit like asking ‘prove atoms exist’. You or I can’t do it, but like anything In life, you look at the evidence, and in the case of the moon, the evidence for is an order of many magnitudes greater than the debunked hoaxer nonsense.

Right. So you believe they figured out all the hard parts, but faked the relatively easy part?

I can understand someone first seeing the conspiracy bullshit and being drawn in. What I can’t understand are presumably reasonably intelligent people still believing it after taking any time to read any of the debunking stuff.

And this demanding proof is nonsense - you are the one claiming it’s a conspiracy, so the onus is on you to disprove it.

It’s a bit like me claiming the earth is flat, and then asking you to prove it isn’t.

No because everything in life isn’t a lie, and as has been said the weight of evidence for is far, far greater than some pseudo science about radiation or photographic science.

Its strange how the planned 2004 return to the moon was going to take 16 years ie 2020 mission was shelved.

Then the next plan for 2022 cancelled. The reason unknown, probable reason lack of funding. Now trump has said ha wants a manned mission to the moon, no lack of funding or expertise so lets see if it happens. Maybe trump though fake news and decided to say prove you can do it AGAIN .

"Are you a conspiracy theorist and if so whats your biggest conspiracy theory and why.

Tesco clubcard and or any other reward cards

Information passed onto the government and nhs in order to gather information about healthy eating alcohol consumption and smoking habits

Reduce the nhs bill for transplants and operations for those individuals who have abused their bodies with over consumption and poor health choices

So who is privvy to this information within a hospital and makes the decision not to give a person an operation due to his or her lifestyle. Violet. ?

It’s merely a theoretical idea although I do know the government have got access

Access to everything we buy in Tesco?

What nonsense "

Actually.. I don't want to scare you but... If you use your clubcard, use online shopping and deliveries etc All that information is saved and used to recommend your favourites, print targeted vouchers etc. They also BOUGHT a company to analyse and sell the data they gather from us. In 2011 Dunnhumby, the company they bought made £53 million profit from analysing and selling on marketing data gleaned from the clubcard system. The Government could buy it freely, however they also have R.E.P.A (Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act) which means at any point they can commandeer that data without anyone knowing any the wiser.

So yes, technically the government has access to everything we buy in Tesco.

What nonsense

So yes, technically the government has access to everything we buy in Tesco."

I remember reading this somewhere too....luckily I only but vegetarian sausages from Tesco so fuck knows what their wee file says about me

"Its strange how the planned 2004 return to the moon was going to take 16 years ie 2020 mission was shelved.

Then the next plan for 2022 cancelled. The reason unknown, probable reason lack of funding. Now trump has said ha wants a manned mission to the moon, no lack of funding or expertise so lets see if it happens. Maybe trump though fake news and decided to say prove you can do it AGAIN .

Edinburgh you said the onus on me is to prove it never happened as im saying conspiracy. Im not saying conspiracy im saying they are lying that it ever happened. Other than self evidence and a few people saying they done it thats not science bud. Hearsay at best."

I never said that about onus. Someone else did.

However, you’re wrong, and as we head into 2019, it’s all a bit tragic really. Education has failed, ‘other opinions’ are given equal weight even when up against crushing evidence.

‘Other than self evidence and a few people saying they done it thats not science bud.’. Let’s just leave that belter hanging there...

Happy New Year! Keep watching those YouTube vids.
