Probably been done but I can't be arsed searching...

What's your favourite Christmas song?

Or, your least favourite?

I can't stand that Stop the Cavalry nonsense, but love a bit of Deano

I believe in Father Christmas - Greg Lake.

I always remember that from when I was at primary school and it wasn't until years later I fully understood what it meant.

Stay is probably my guilty pleasure one.

And I love Springsteen’s version of Santa Claus is Coming to Town, and the Cocteau Twins version of Frosty the Snowman.

Not sure if the Pet Shop Boys epic version of Always on my Mind counts, but pretty sure it was an Xmas number one. But it should, because it’s epic!

"Fairy tale of New York has got to be the best Christmas song ever."

Is it just me, or does the first part of the song by the Pogues sound like a drrunken slur?? Can't stand it.

Apparently according to the history behind the song Kirsty & Shane shared a bottle of Scotch before recording it so it's not a surprise he sounds a bit d*unk , they did manage to record it in one go though

My favourite is, Fairytale of New York.

My works band played a charity gig 3 Christmases in a row and the favourite track we played in all 3 was our own rendition of Fairytale in New York

Funny when the radio plays the Christmas number ones they always play the Pogues even though it never made number one

Still for me it is the first Christmas track I reach for during the festivities
