I like a well written profile.

I'm pretty sure a lot of people don't get past the pictures and some maybe glance and decide reading is too much work

The profile makes or breaks a message for me.

I do, and follow there instructions to the letter. Unfortunately they don't seem to follow their own rules which is very frustrating.

I never usually message first, but always do when I receive a message. I then often need to point out why I'm not for them as I don't fit their own criteria! E.g: wrong age or they aren't looking for a single female.

Read the profiles if I think they good enough for me then peruse the pictures I end up messaging about 1 out of 10 profiles after that

If someone sends me a message I read their profile before I answer it.

If someone says anything weird/funny/rude/ ect..on the firums il probably read their profiles.

I always do if im thinking of messaging. Saves me wasting my own time as well as theres if im not what their looking for, also gives me something to talk about in the message.

Going by my mailbox 90% dontbread mine or think my words dont apply to them

I read profiles before I message (unless on back of forum), and occasionally get a cheerful message back ‘can’t you read the profile’, well yes, I read it, but granted I haven’t learned every word and I admit can’t recite it backwards, but I did fkn read it, grrr

We would say 90% people on here don't read it Mainly the guys.

Our profile clearly states what we want so people ether don't read it or disrespect it by ignoring it and we just ignore or Block. Most guys just think the site is dial a shag. sorry guys you bring it on yourselves...

I've gone to do this a couple of times and not been able to as we're outside their filters

if I'd read the profile I'd have known that but it's been in response to a comment so haven't. If I were messaging because there's potential for a meet then that's different

If she had a list of things she doesn't like rather than what she wants on her profile I don't message her but if I think she sounds like my cuppa tea I will send her a message but 9 times out of 10 she doesn't answer the message but which is quite frustrating but hey ho such is life.

Just to give an example, I received a message earlier today from a couple. They had even viewed my profile beforehand. States very clearly on my profile that I can only meet weekday daytimes. My current status mentions tomorrow being my last available day to play this year.

So we get into messaging back and forth and they suggest a meet. Guess when they want to meet.

Saturday.

I give up.

but negative profiles, some statuses are usually constant moans with the same people, those I cant be bothered with, I just block.

Reading profiles, actually I do read all the time, interests me, peoples views and what they are into, even though some or most are nothing that I ever care to indulge in.

Messaging profiles that I do not fit, I have done only to comment on their status, or something they have said or just stating something I agree or like about their profile or them etc...

Whatever reason we are here for, its good when others read and understand what your into, enjoy, looking for etc.. and its only right that we do the same for them and contact and connect with the ones who are right for us and each other.

You will see profiles that ask for;

Looking for fun

Looking for laughs and banter

looking for a regular

looking for a companion

Looking for friends

Looking for fucks

Looking to swing with others

Looking for like minded kinksters

etc....

Above is obviously only a sample but reading profiles without doubt always gives you a little help to find who is and not right for you, potentially.

and to be honest, I've read profiles that I've thought were idea people to meet but the pictures they have put up have totally put me off or verifications they have had have done the same.

If people haven't read your profile and contact you to chat and try to arrange a meet etc.. it seems they are not really interested and only want to try and have a fuck, those people, I genuinely have no time for

In our experience very few single guys read the profile and add what we ask for. If you can’t be bothered to do so and send a message such as “available now” or “I’d fuck ur wife” your straight to the blocked page with no reply. Then you get guys who clearly haven’t read the profile and message anyway,like bi guys. We’re not looking for bi guys so again straight to blocked page, no reply. We have hundreds on our blocked page, many done twice because they come off after three days (whilst they state “this is a waste of time, I’m leaving in three days if nobody messaged me!” It’s hilarious! Next week, “can’t stay away”! Our suggestion is to read the profile if your interested, if it asks for photos and your happy to send them, send them with a polite message. If they’re interested they’ll message you back. Well they should, we do. If they are not interested they should send a polite no thanks and delete your message. At this point we also block as we don’t want time wasted to either parties. This is just our suggestion/observation. Merry Christmas folks. All the best when it comes. R.
