Hi guys as my new years project i am gonna assume responsibility for the planning and Quirky will take control of attendance list, payments etc... am going to contact a couple of local hotels today... I will take into consideration cheaper months for rooms and any discount on large bookings and amount of rooms available.. This will be organised as a purely fun social gathering so any fun must be organised in private and reserved purely for in your room only... am sure you can all respect these guidelines?....

Will post dates and prices soon

Any ideas on how to arrange teams? should we opt for a gender balance and split teams on that or go for the first come first served approach and go old school keys in a bowl? (for the purpose of team Selection only)

I'm an airsoft man it's lot cheaper and you there the whole day and not few hours with paintball also you only get 100 paint balls after that you have to pay airsoft you get about 4000 and that lasts whole day

most airsoft sites have hire guns, if they need extra then they get them in.

airsoft is great fun and a lot cheaper than paintball

Either suits me. I do recommend wearing a box for the fellas, though, for paintball.

Paintball is more visual, hurts like fook when you use a m16 inside a house. It hurts but then you do were a mask to protect your face though.

Airsoft nah think i'll pass, some folk like it others prefer paintball.

Hi Guys,

I used to work for a paintball site near the airport and still play, I'm sure I could talk my old boss into a discount.

Having played both airsoft and paintball, airsoft tends to be more about playing soldiers than having a laugh although those of you who like a uniform airsoft may be the way to go.....

not sure what airsoft is but if theres no pain involved well it can't be much fun. We really fancy paintballing sometime. Nothing like a dirty weekend away and all that pain and bruising

Paintball is good fun, gets you a bit of exercise. Most organised events wont let you bring u r own paintballs as they sell them at the event, which is how they make money. Can recommend "Battlegrounds" up here in Aberdeen I have been there with some trigger happy killers from work wishing to vent some stress, that was last year and its still a developing site which should have improved since then. look at their site, but as for stinging well u need to avoid getting hit but if u wear very loose coveralls its not as bad. Cheers

Quirkygirl you could try Tazball in Inverness if its not too far away, its a good site and they also do lazertag there for people who don't like a little hurt....
