I did a bit of erotic dancing many years ago very similar to Dancing Bear website.

Never had any issues with getting kit off

I think being brought up in an environment where we used communal showers etc both at school and then in the Forces kinda tore down inhibitions

Only ever did it once, fully naked, was doing a strip tease on the stage in carnegies in Paisley and strangely enough I felt totally comfortable. The other guy who did it with me, now that was a different matter

Have been to a few spas in Germany where it’s totally the norm to be naked as is the case all over Europe.

It’s actually quite unhealthy to use a steam room or sauna with swimming gear on. Really annoys me that we’re so uptight in this country about our bodies and the bodies of others that our attitudes to nudity are so repressed.

Totally agree. That’s why we should have more opportunities to see normal naked bodies, not just the perfect airbrushed bodies we see in the media.

Swimming pools and saunas being the natural place for that to happen. In countries where nudity is more socially acceptable like Germany and the Scandinavian countries they record much lower mental health problems linked to body image.

Totally agree. We have a very weird attitude to nudity in this country and share it with America. That's why there are folk who'll happily go topless or nude when abroad but would never dream of it here. In some cases because the local prudery kicks back in and in others because of the reaction public nudity gets here.

I was just watching 'The Following' in which one of the acolytes was sent out to commit public suicide. She had to strip off before killing herself. The camera angles were worked out so that her nipples were hidden at all times but we clearly got to see her stabbing herself in the eye. Any society that feels the former should be hidden whilst the latter is okay to see is very, very messed up.
