Turnberry beach in Ayrshire is a nice quiet beach. Backed by high sanddunes. There is a small car park, as you enter turnberry from the south. Walk up the road a hundred yards or so. On the left just before the golf course is a track for access to the beach. Sand dunes are to your left across the burn (stream) lighthouse to your right over the rocks. The beach is nice and sandy.
