Do people think a private video section would work on here

No.

It would be impracticle (IMO) to moderate to ensure people are not using it illegally.

Pics, a whole gallery could be scanned through in seconds for approval but each video would have to be watched in full before been allowed.

As its a free site, its just increasing the time and costs involved.
