Topic on radio the other day , the presenter(m) said he occasionaly 'borrowed' a friends wife to go to a gig or event if she liked the gig too because his own wife and friend were not interested in going.

Mainly a question to couples but swingles can join in with an opinion too.

Couples, !! Real world , not Fab friends, would you be suspicious if a friend borrowed a husband or wife 'opposite sex' invite, to go out for a night out to an event or gig together ? Be honest now.

I'd be more worried about my wife's sanity if she chose to go a night out with any of my mates but no I wouldn't be suspicious in a sexual/relationship kinda way

My friends, people who I confide in and choose to spend time with, are all female. There are men in my life who I'm friendly with but who I don't class as friends ....if that makes sense. So I think Mr would find it odd if I did this.

He's kind of the same...what used to be referred to as "A man's man" so I'd find it strange if he was going somewhere with another woman. Wouldn't assume he was up to no good though.

I have went to football games with friends husbands and a concert. Known them for years so class them as mates. The concert I went to it was my friend who suggested it. Know for a fact none of us saw it any more than filling a space

Nope. When I was married we quite often went places with the opposite sex as we didn’t always want to do the same thing. Especially films. Was never a problem

1 of my best vanilla friends was a guy for yrs!! Used to go to the pub or the football for yrs..once he got married wasn't quite the same think his Mrs wasn't happy so we stopped out of respect of his wives feelings.

Think if it was me..id honestly prob be the same...why would my hubby want to borrow someone to go somewhere instead of taking me?
