Boring old aberdeen

Aberdeen is disappointing with the lack of events.. where is best in Scotland for meets/clubs or would anyone be interesting in creating one in Aberdeen? Dan x

In terms of events, the dance floors at any of the Dundee or Glasgow socials are great for meeting fun groups of folk . Re clubs, CJs in Glasgow is one of the most friendly, well-placed clubs I can think of. R

It's a very rare thing Aberdeen Socials even tho you see a lot off profiles stating Aberdeen most stay in the Shire and the others meet socially a lot off times you just need to be in with the in crowd this is why more people are going to Dundee, Glasgow or Edinburgh

Respectfully, I am gonna call BS on that. Your 'in' crowd are just those who have shown up to regular Aberdeen socials recently. There is no 'years' to it. Aberdeen folk meet up elsewhere too!. R

Have to agree with Rollo on this one. Just because folk have become friends after going to various socials, going to the Aberdeen club while it was still open or just through being on the site for a number of years and getting chatting doesn't mean they are part of an in-crowd. Yes some of us do have nights out without it being an organised social but that's what friends do isn't it?

I for one am happy being friends with some people on here.Ive formed some closer friendships than I have with some non fabbers which comes from just being myself on here.

None of which would have happened if I didnt attend any socials,like everything else you get out what you put in.

Don't you just love the views off people , lets give you an insight to the in crowd , the people who started a kik group and you where only added if you meet the females crit ( ie had slept with a least 1) it was like the Witches of Eastwick , Bullying off some members ,

Males who went against crowd sent to Coventry and removed from Kik , ( view some off the old posts involving Aberdeen.

Males you tried to orangise socials shot down in Flames by crowd again view old posts,

On the contrary I've been in kik groups for other socials and the majority have got on well, there was definitely no requirement to have slept with anyone to get into them, just that you would be going to the social. Its a good way for those who are new to socials to get to know others before the night out. If anyone got removed it was probably for being abusive to others or sending unasked for private messages and photos

To get the thread back on track, if the OP wishes to organise a social I would be happy to go if I was free. There have been other males who have organised successful socials and I'm sure he could too

Oh how people seem to forget the time there was a hell on in Aberdeen about the Kik group, and then there was the bullying from members off the Kik group plus as i said what about the male who feel out with a member off kik group cause he had slept with 1off the kik group ( past post where male tells kik member not to tell him what he can and can't do ) .

As for males organising socials we know why that doesn't happen , i can't mind the last time that happened but i am sure someone will come along shortly telling when .

I do wonder why the people FEMALES have stopped doing they as they did a roaring trade if i mind .

It was the 12 October last year actually. A young Irish lad was coming back from offshore and put up for a social. From memory there was 25/30 attended and it was a great night!

Well said. There also 2 sides to every story and the one side we r hearing is 3rd party or.maybe even 4 or 5 and seems to have arms and legs added on. In fact not seems it definately does x

Sorry this is not 3rd party .

And i have given ,ALL. Time to explain about the Kik group. Bullying . Etc but i see these parts are excluded . Again i am not bitching i leave that to the Clique they say Aberdeen doesn't have

To get back to the OP's post, if you have an idea go for it. Lots of good things happen in Aberdeen, just takes someone to make them happen. Can't say I am part of whatever clique the paranoid one mentions, I have only ever been to one social in Aberdeen. But it was arranged by a guy and it was a good night. There was a Kik group, absolutely no drama it just died out after the event. I would encourage anyone that wants an event to happen to give it a go x

This I the norm with a social. Everyone who shows an interest/gets a ticket is added to a kik group. Some chat more than others and I myswlf.met a few good friends thronmeeinf for a coffee before hand and anyone on the group was invited amd indeed there were a few coffee meets to accomodate prople. Iv been to 4 socials in Aberdeen and the organiser went out of their way to make it a grey night. As I sd because of it I made 5 or 6 good friends, and still chat on fab to others male and female. The childish playground crap arising from any of them is caused by the same troublemakers every time so maybe they r in fact the "clique" x

A person is only a trouble maker if there causing trouble but thats not what i am doing here i have given an honest answer to the OP asking WHY Aberdeen is so Boring in my opinion which i notice doesn't bode well with the same ladies who always reply when anything is mentioned about Aberdeen and especially the Kik Group ( and when people get that annoyed about the subject normally means to me there is Truth ) in the shit they say myself is spouting.

Don’t agree. I Have had some amazing meets and socials in Aberdeen it’s what u make it ur self like every place there is some time wasters but also a lot of genuine folk

Aberdeen often hold social events you just need to look in the forums as they are always posted up when an event is taking place.
