So I just read in the lounge that someone was murdered from another user on the site in London so it got me curious , do people meet spontaneous? or take time to meet someone how careful can you be I mean it is all a risk meeting people we don't know too well

That’s so shocking , sadly it’s anything is accessible and popular , the wrong people will eventually migrate to it and use it for their own ends , there a lot to be said for safety in numbers and more stringent advice plastered over the site , particularly for younger people who can be more impulsive, love to find out more about the story

As part of a couple we only ever met spontaneously.

As a single I chat for ages & not spontaneous at all. Probably puts some off, but that's fine.

I think its a risk we all take. Just because you have messaged someone for weeks then met for coffee does not by any means make you safe when alone with that person behind closed doors. This happens outside Fab also due to a very small percentage of nutters in the world.

Spontaneously as a couple you can see the sense and safety there , but I don’t think men in general until you read about this poor girl realise the trust s solo lady is putting in you just having that first social even , Rosie, quite right about ages , nothing in here should be rushed ,especially first meets
