After you have read a message from someone new to you what do you do next

For the gents

As above or what makes you send a message in the first place.

What I suppose I’m really wondering is if you look at the profile and if so any particular part of it

Or do most go simply on the message received

I personally look at the profile and check first if they are verified - and by whom

Then check out the written part and lastly look at the photos and in most cases wish I had started with the pics and it would have saved a lot of time.

Cock happy profiles don’t generally get a reply

It depends on the man's first message. If it's a decent one then I'll say hi but if it's dirty or offensive, which nine times out of ten it is, then I simply delete it. Sending a message like that doesn't even get them a chat never mind a meet and neither do cock pics attached to the message either

In terms of sending messages, I read the profile and see if I fit their age range and interests. Then look at pictures, before sending a message.

In terms of receiving a message and responding. I will always reply, even if it's a thanks but no thanks. I may give a particular reason depending on the person's profile, for example if the couple have a bi male. I will explain that I am not that way inclined but thanks for messaging. I know this is easier for me to do as I don't generate the volume of mail other users do.

When I message anyone I always look at the profile and not just the pics or location

I rarely message anyone who has just joined the site as 1 there are so many fake profiles onhere and 2 new users get more messages than older users as there seems to be a rush at the beginning

I always look for verifications and read them and who sent thems veris( loads seem to have a veri from maybe 1 person and they have it from 1 person). Imnot saying they arent

genuine but some aren’t

I then make sure ive read the profile again and I amsomeone thst the people might meet

I really dont send many messages in general and it kinda works better

I usually send a message to someone due to something they have interesting on their status or profile and I wanna make it a comment on it. I read a profile today, a profile that I really enjoyed reading and they come across as if they will have a great time and I messaged them to say that I enjoyed it.

Any messages I get I don't really keep for long on my inbox, I usually just delete them, nothing meant by it good or bad, just like to keep it clear

One thing I can never understand by guys, why do guys send cock pics attached to messages, well their first message anyways.

Even common sense knows that most of those messages will be deleted just cause of the cock pic shown and they would usually be blocked

To answer seriously, I rarely message someone cold.

I don't get enough messages to warrant any sort of tactical approach to reading them. I doubt many men do.

I do read profiles, probably the photos first, then age, then the text, then check if I'm in the right age group, then veris. But in no particular order.

I’m lucky enough to have made one or two friends on Fab, but I have never recieved a single unsolicited message from a woman...ever.

This is a long winded way of saying I’ve never had to ponder the dilema of whether or not I should reply to someone saying hello.

Dick pics deleted pronto. Messages that say Hi or want to fuck? Deleted pronto. Polite or indicating they read your profile would usually deserve a polite reply.

If there's a cock in a profile pic or I get sent a cock pic I don't reply. It says in my profile so don't feel bad. I'll reply to any message no matter what the message is before I even look at the profile. After a few messages I decide if I'm looking at the profile or not x

If it’s more than just hi as in a polite well worded/indicated they read profile or funny I’ll have a quick scan of profile and then reply even if it’s just to say thanks but no thanks.

Dick pics attached = Deleted

hi = Deleted

Abuse = Deleted & Blocked

Repeat messages = Deleted & possibly blocked especially if Already replies saying no thanks

We read all the messages,

We can tell if someone has read our profile or messaged us with something relevant to start a conversation.

Jokes about Satanist or you scare us/me get a strait block (the didn't read the profile....oops)

Most others we reply to after looking at...

-Updated photos

-Profile content (does thier message reflect what they say in profile)

-Verifications

-is it a person we would like to be friends with outside of the bedroom. (Humour, conduct in the forum and in the chat room... a few people have lost us here)

Then we reply accordingly.
