As previously stated it can be quite intimidating to post on any of these forums as they have a tendency to get a little too serious and sometimes personal or bitchy. My opinion, for what it is worth, is that unless the topic is of a truely serious or sensitive topic then why can’t everyone play nicely with light hearted and fun comments. It doesn’t mean we have to agree and I do love a good debate but I’m able to be articulate and respectful.. whilst I may not agree with someone else’s opinion I respect their right to have that without the need to be offensive towards others. "Newbie/ new member/inexperienced fabber here. Well I have been a “lurker” on here a few times which actually sounds worse. Anyway, as a relatively new member to the fabbing world and the site this is my first ever post so I suppose I am also a virgin poster. So many label!! As previously stated it can be quite intimidating to post on any of these forums as they have a tendency to get a little too serious and sometimes personal or bitchy. My opinion, for what it is worth, is that unless the topic is of a truely serious or sensitive topic then why can’t everyone play nicely with light hearted and fun comments. It doesn’t mean we have to agree and I do love a good debate but I’m able to be articulate and respectful.. whilst I may not agree with someone else’s opinion I respect their right to have that without the need to be offensive towards others. There has been some amazing posts on here where its just been a debate after debate and some really interesting, and great posts added to them and some have closed and then started again as they were that good. The more people who join in with a wide and varied choice can only get the forum way better hope you have a blast on here

We all make jokes with people on here, well most, me too and others who don't know that person personally may take offence. If its personal attack then the person being attacked has the right to reply but the best way is just to ignore them as they will eventually fade away and that includes me if I make a personal comment on someone. The forums have potential to be a enjoyable experience and sometimes its not. I do hope that everyone feels comfortable to post on the forums whether they are new to posting or post often | |||

"Amazing how a thread that started off with the intention of breaking the mould of intimidating, unfriendly threads has developed into this shit again. I tried to do my best to be back to normal but others just keep trying to stir it up. Even on other threads they continue but its usually the same ones who join together in their dislike of someone but the newbies hopefully will learn from it and stay away from the person whom their are picking on or learn about the others who are picking on the person and think fuck this, they are the same or worse
Anyways newbies, post when you feel comfortable and post something you find funny or think a good debate cane ensue or even ask questions, the forums has many good highlights overt the years "Try as you might, you can't take back what you said. That is your new "normal". | |||
