Theres the shoebox web site they advertise having 3 venues but when i queried bout it it was the same old venue that was stated, for me to feel safe going into a small room with a lotof men in towels and nowhere to go is not my idea of free choice or fun, theres a reason the place got seized by police...

I wouldn't go to it for the very same reasons. Plus when I messaged about it they replied saying they they weren't allowing non members in. Something to hide I think, more to the point x

I'm not a CJ snob. I do however like room to move and not being expected to play just because I was in attendance. So for that reason I wouldn't attend it.

Unfortunately we don't have a lot of choice in Scotland, and many don't have the time or money to travel south of the border, so CJs it is.

I cant speak for the shoebox as ive never been so would not and coukd not comment on the girls that go, i have attended both other scottish clubs and would need to say, what a croc of s..t to say females get paid to attend. If that were the case why do so many guys leave the clubs disappointed. That alone would not be good for business and contradict any reason to pay females to attend. These ridiculous comments usually manifest themselves from people who have never been to a club.

As someone who's been to cjs a few times over the years and never been to after 8 or the shoebox I only go by what his said in the forums

Shoebox and after 8 get slated time and time again but holy feck cjs comes up smelling of roses everytime? Which in my opinion it dosn't .

It's a sex club just the same as the others

Hell if your paying through the nose just to walk through the door sure as hell I'd expect some sex ! But can honestly say the few time iv been to cjs iv never once wanted to!

So if you go to either fair play but ffs stop slating any other Scottish club that's not cjs.go and find out for yourselves and stop spreading lies or rumours you have heard.

Not directed at anyone specific just saying it as I see it.

Lots of people who’ve never been sharing their opinions. Oldies said a lot of what I would have said however

I have been many times. I am not paid to be there. I’ve never been obliged to have sex with anyone and have told plenty no.

if you want time out there is space. It’s a small swingers venue aimed at people who want to have sex. It’s not a pub or a coffee shop.

I’ve never not felt safe at Shoebox.

As stated i've been to the shoebox with my wife plenty of times and never seen any issue of safety, she has said no to many a guy and no one has taken the humph. Guess it's i don't like it creeping in. Don't like don't go but if you haven't been then you can't say what it's like can you. We're going on Thur.

I was there yesterday at the new venue. It’s bigger than the old venue as it has another room.

I’ve been 3/4 times now. I’ve seen couples in there that the woman has said to guys she’s not interested and they have accepted and moved on. I’ve seen comments about safety but actually the intimacy of the place means that you are more likely to be safe as there’s safety in numbers if someone is being overly pushy.

It’s different from cjs but that doesn’t mean it’s better or worse, that’s down to preference.

The shoebox, cjs and after8 all give us different options and the people that run these places do so for us. Yes they are in it to make a profit but they’ve all been harshly exposed by the media at some point, even though they are doing nothing wrong, which will cause them to be judged by family, friends, neighbours etc. Surely we shouldn’t be giving these places bad names and spreading rumours about them when some haven’t even been, when they get enough criticism from people that don’t understand the swinging lifestyle.

If you don’t enjoy something then don’t do it again but don’t assume someone else shouldn’t.enjoy it as well,

It all adds to the scene, people complain when they've not got something then complain when they do

I've been to CJs many times, I was a regular at Aberdeen until it closed and I visited After8 once and didn't like it. So as Aberdeen is not operational anymore my only choice is CJs.

A lot of people from here go because there are a lot of people on here from that area, more than there was for Aberdeen. I don't see it as a CJs posse, but then I also don't look at everything with ulterior motives. Not directed at anyone, just my opinion.

The way i got that is if your not going to have sex dont go, no coffee supplied there lol, i may go for fun ect but if chemistry isnt there doesnt feel like a good atmosphere it aint happening, its nice to know theres no pressure yes even going to il add "a swingers club" as its not exclusively a sex club its a club you go to to interact with other swingers theres never any intention of sex and men that go should and are always reminded of this

I visited on Tuesday and felt under no pressure to play. When I declined to give one of the ladies a good hard fucking with my big cock, as she demanded, she did not pressurise me and respected my wishes.

Plenty of refreshments and snacks available.

I will return again soon.

Of course its safer in a club especially if your a single female. Where else can a single female be safe, at a guys house, in her own house, in a club she is only a couple of feet through one room door to other club goers and staff regularly patrol the halls outside rooms .

As for the locked doors, again, of course they allow doors to be locked, not everyone is into voyeurism and like to be watched or have others simply walk in while your having fun. You gotta love all the misconceptions NON CLUB goers have around clubs. Guys go to a club them make up your own minds , simples. Ps Any club in Britain not neccesary to be a Scottish club in case i become part of some so called posse.

Yes i know the safety aspect was from the earlier part of the chain of messages.

Yes locks are on all doors and get used all the time if the people want privacy.

I wasn't comparing a club to someone's home. Just the whole lock on the door in general x

Yes i know the safety aspect was from the earlier part of the chain of messages.

Yes locks are on all doors and get used all the time if the people want privacy.

I've been in different clubs many times and I always thought a closed door meant the people in the rooms wanted privacy. It was always like that any time I went and people respected that x"

Unfortunately some dont respect just a closed door and for us and or maybe others nothing spoils the mood and momentum more than stopping mid fun to close a door again.

"I have never been to the shoebox so can not comment on what it is like. However, i have spoke to alot of men who have been and had great experiences there so surely this can only be a good thing."

Yea because the enjoyment of the men that attend is paramount

"Have only been to cjs and would probably only attend again to socialise. Will never attend showbox as they state NO rooms with locks!! Fuck that shit!! As a single Lady I value my safety and I wouldn't feel safe unless I at least had the option to lock a door.

I never quiet understood this notion that looking a door at a swinger club makes you save? How do you now the people your in the room with aren’t dodgy lol. I can understand it from a privacy point of view eg your meeting some and neither can accom so you meet at a swingers club etc but never from a safety point of view lol

I always thought a closed door meant you want privacy. I wouldn't be comfortable at all with locks on doors in a sex club. I'd be really surprised if any of them actually allowed that x

Bit confused here - I thought the Shoebox consisted of all the shenanigans going on in the ONE room in a rather compact flat? So the issue of door locks would surely be irrelevant!

The door locks comment was meant for general clubs , no idea if shoebox a has locks as never been. Easy to be confused tracey when threads take slightly different tangents between 2 posters .

Blah Blah Blah. Go or don't go it's your choice. If you go play or don't again it's your choice which will be respected. So this is all kinda moot really. Now me i enjoy it, my wife does as well, other couples have also told us they enjoy it, guys and gals it's your choice to go or not but DON'T tell others what their choice is nor INFLUENCE it. Now i wish you all happy fabbing and swinging
