Is there any point in them at all

The number of times I’m asked if I’m married and yet it states clearly my status on my profile

Honestly why bother on here

It seems to be filled with naenderthals and folk with lazyitis - both major bug bearers for me

Well I do take note of the ones who have actually read mine .............others just look at the pics i think

Personally I do read a profile as it gives me sense of the person and if we may hit it off or not

Is it frustrating when folk don’t? Yes but then that could be your filter

Folk take what they want out of Fab it’s a weird and wonderful place

Personally I'll read a profile if I see someone of interest, a quick read and if all is good and I think I meet their criteria I'll message. Not that it's a given that it'll bag a successful meet.

I always read profiles as it tells you a bit about that person and what they're looking for. I think there are a lot of people who don't and only want to look at the pics. I get messages from couples asking to meet me and it clearly states in my profile that I only meet them in cj's now so obviously they haven't read my profile. If they did read it then it saves them sending a message in the first place x

As a bloke and Inknkw I'm a bloke I checked ...99% of men look at the pictures first and read a profile a distant 56th....more than 4 lines long and it won't be read ...fact ...Google it

I don't have much on my profile as the reality is women don't need to search for guys on here and message them.

I do read female profiles and for me just as important as what they state they are looking for is how they are written and the language they use. For me, most are a turn off in that respect and don't get a message from me. Also the number of copy and paste profiles lifted directly from other profiles demonstrates a complete lack of imagination, originality and dare I say it intelligence.

Been caught out a few times where I've fallen for this and sent a message only to get a reply from someone who seems to have a reading age of about 8.

Your profile is your opportunity to say what you are on fab for, yet so many can't be bothered to do so. Copy & paste messages are easy to spot, & not the first time someone has forgotten to change the name!!

Works both ways, quite a lot of girls, not all I may add, get annoyed cause as a guy sone of us don't jump when they want to fuck.

Simple, if a guy doesn't read your profile it's the perfect filter

Just delete and block, no second chances

Not always easy. I have taken time to sit and write a message to someone only to be told it is cut and paste. Think too many expect, and therefore see, what they expect. It is like someone who is used to being treated badly expecting to be treated badly. As a single guy it is obviously hard to get connections, and for older guys getting more and more difficult. The ones who have spoiled it have made it so. However, I believe in hope over adversity!!

My profile states I have a partner. I also read profiles I think are relevant to me and my partner. Yes I look at the pictures first. Any messages I send are always respectful, and again I mention my partner in these. We have a joint account also under the name Mcvk. Any women who are bi/curious take a look

Do read profiles but usually the age preferences is a stopper to sending a message, even though some profiles say it is only a guide.
