Looks like I could be in for a night in Ullapool Friday. Anyone with any advice on how to spend the evening? Not necessarily “fab” orientated though that too, of course.

its a lovely place..you have hill walking and the pubs...maybe fishing if you are into that

The Ferry Boat Inn is a cool wee pub and the Ceildh Place is also good for food and a pint.

Both often have a wee music session of an evening.

Ullapool. Is a pretty funky wee town.

The Frigate is the best for food in my opinion.

Ferry boat or ceilidh place for music.

Nothing worse than stuck in Ullapool when the ferry is cancelled and your car is stuck in the ferry car park. There's only so much fish chips and beer you can take.
