Aside from all the offers you’ll get from “single” guys. There’s after 8 or there is plenty decent pubs and a few clubs. Depends what you’re after???????......

The cj posse will have you believe nowhere is better than their beloved club lol

Never been to after 8 myself tho couldn't say either way as with most of the cj crowd probably lol

Ps..enjoy your stay whatever you do

After 8 is the same as any other club or event. It’s what you make it.

We had nothing but bad reviews from everyone when we said we were going.

We decided to go along anyway and make our own mind up.

We ended up having a brilliant night and would defo go again.

Depending what on what you’re looking for you’ve got the grassmarket, with lots of pubs ( and after8 nearby) or George street which is a bit more trendy with cocktail bars.

What sort of night are you looking for and who are you with... I suppose that will dictate where’s best for you.

Regardless, enjoy and soak up the atmosphere wherever you go xx

As a Glasgow guy who loves the Glasgow nightlife, Ill say that The Grassmarket area and George Street are awesome for chilling or being a party animal

Whatever you go and choose I seriously hope you have a wonderful time

wholeheartedly concur never been anywhere in a Scottish city better , sadly being an orc I stood out badly , used by a very very attractive clientele

Thank you everybody for the feedback! I’m there for a course and was hoping to go to a new swinger club- i’m yet to explore any venue outside of the London area. Thought it would be a nice adventure. I’m in my own, so also trying to find a hand holder

Have a potential meet with a nice man, but he’s not keen on After8. If you’re reading this- change your mind!!! Lol

He's probably just wanting you for himself for the weekend. Nothing wrong with that but your wanting the club scene no matter what and it sounds like he's not even into the club scene
