I just see verifications as another way of learning what a person is like from others viewpoints. They can sometimes be used to spot fake accounts too though.

I don't give to fucks what people think. There are people on here who are judgmental, who are jealous, who don't like you but there are outweighed by some fantastic, nice people. Personally I try and treat everyone with honesty n respect and if you don't get the same back then you know who to avoid.

Verifications are a big thing for some. I only show verification social meets, any fun ones usually hidden unless they do not go into detail.

Your saying your not hoping to get naked and intimate with these people. You meet them for coffee or drinks and your intentions are for another coffee or drink and another and another. Its first and foremost in my opinion a sex site. People in the majority are here to hook up. Of course some people may choose to never meet or only meet for socials but ultimately it's about meeting up with like minded people to fuck.

I don't display all my verifications because many were from socials or people whom I met on other sites and bumped into again on here. But I think its quite clear from my profile,status and meets I post that I am confident about what I want on here.

I was chatting with a female for a while with interest of a social meet and she was the same ilk. She told me she was going to have a fun, kinky meet with a guy which is fine. Then I read the verification which I found so disrespectful of women and what was worse was she showed it.

Later we chatted and I told her we won't be meeting for that very reason as I find it a total turn off that it was shown.

She understands and we occasionally have a wee chat now and then but that's as far as it goes.

Veri do play their part and give you some inkling of that person

Nobody has ever given me a detailed or vulgar veri. Not sure why but it is much appreciated as i would be horrified and certainly would not display it. Its nice to be treated respectfully and what goes on behind closed doors to me is private and not for all to know.

Thats an unusual way of looking at a verification but if thats your viewpoint then fair enough. I see them only as proving a person is real . 4 plus veris of course. 1 or 2 can easily be faked.

Verifications to me is to prove I'm real and actually do meet.

As is I only meet verified others that shows they are real and they meet.

Do I show them..No

But I do show my summery to prove all of the above.

I like to see verifications that say the person has physically met the person, so to speak. Webcam verifications, while maybe saying they are who they say they are don't really tell you anything else. I have recently taken to just showing the verification summary because, as others have said people can be very judgemental about the people I have met. The people I have met are really no ones business. If you want to meet me then it's me you are meeting, not them. My verifications tend to say the same things about me anyway and if we have spent time chatting then you should already have come to those conclusions by yourself, that's after all why I think we would be meeting. I wouldn't ever judge people on who they have met, I may question why they are interested in me after seeing who they have met, but then come to the conclusion that they see something different in me that they are interested in or attracted to.

Lets be honest we all judge and are judged by everything that is out there for others to see. Be that on here or outside in the dare I say real world. Heck each and every Fab member who check out peoples profiles judge them as either people of interest or as people to avoid, that also goes for what they post on the forums too.

Of course not many people like others to judge them in a bad light. In my opinion and that being the case it makes sense not to put anything out there that might give people reason to be anything less than harsh in their judgment.

As far a verifications go, they too will either work in the persons favour or go against them. 'Me', well only having joined Fab 3 months ago it's still all a learning curve, but I don't imagine for one moment that I've not been judged by many and yes I've also judged others.

Two things I have learned is it's not always a good idea to have a verification visible as it can either work in your favour or not as might be the case. Also that verification can cause problems with people who feel they somehow 'own' their meets by way of thinking that because they have met someone then that person shouldn't be meeting with anyone other than them.

Yep it's all a minefield of pros and cons.

I have been judged by people and they have found out I'm a total different person than they expected, hopefully for the good.

I have looked at verifications and some have genuinely put me off, I do not deny that. For those people that I have decided against, it may have been the wrong decision as they might not be the person that comes across in that verification or what I thought. I can and will live with it even if I'm totally wrong and I'm sorry for that but I do know their life's will go on well regardless.
