Well folks aimed at the single people on here for fun.

Well folks the question is, Are You Destined To Be Alone?

Even to the guys n girls with a regular on here because we know most won't last as they will go off n meet someone else eventually.

So what's ur view on the subject

There's someone out there for everybody

Not everyone wants to share their life with someone though

I'll worry about that when it's time to slow down. Probably in 15-20 years I'd reconsider single life x

Obviously not ruling out finding "the one" before then, but not looking for him x

Possibly I am, but that's cool. Would rather be alone than in something that wasn't right. We're all different though

I thought for a long time I was and that I wasn’t gf material. Bouncing in and out of short term meaningless relationships. Then I met my man and I’ve went from hating all forms of affection to being a PDA loved up queen lol

I now truly believe that there is someone out there for everyone. It’s just a matter of not settling and finding them

Probably as I’m fussy and like my own space but it would be nice to know someone cared about your good days and bad days enough to give you a hug or meet for a chat.

My kids are adults so in a few years I’ll probably be on my own. Maybe I’ll just adopt cats!

Its life, we all know for a fact we are gonna have ups and downs, we just have to deal with it. Be positive and happy where you are and things will definitely take a turn for the better

Even when I've been with folk I need huge amounts of me time.

While I enjoy folks company I enjoy my own more so and wouldn't give it up

That's the best way to be I think. Resilient and happy in your own company.

I'm alone at the moment and for now I still have Fab but I honestly don't think I'm destined to be alone. It's a case of mind over matter, there's someone out there, it's just a matter of time. Even though I'm not looking, if the right man came along I'd certainly give it a go and give him a chance x

I think this is a good way to be. You never know what might happen. 2 Mr Rights could appear at the same time. But if you aren’t willing to accept it may happen, you may not notice him until it’s too late.

Destined to be alone has such negative connotations to my ears....as if no one will ever want you....ever.

I like to think that I choose to be alone (I prefer single...alone is too much like lonely).

Well said. This is how i feel. I have managed to rebuild my life after many unhappy years with my partner. I may be single but i am also in control of my life which feels good. I have a fear of being trapped again so therefore choose to remain by myself.

Ditto.

My current single status was hard won and after a few years in the wilderness I’m now enjoying being in a happy place...no intentions of risking that just to not be ‘alone’

Nah, I'll adopt you.....Mr will need someone to wear all this pvc and lingerie if I don't lay off the pizza and chocolate.

I applaud anyone who is completely happy on their own. I think I'd always be happier as half of a couple.

I honestly think so. Had the opportunity to date and it terrifies me, it's the sex part that puts me off. Came on here for a quick fix, it won't happen. I'm happy with everything else in my life so I don't really give it a thought now, just get on with it, don't dwell on it and hopefully it will happen one day

I’m not alone, I have lots of friends, family and the likes around me.

I’m single though and I find that if I’m with someone too much then I get itchy feet and start to crave my own company and space.

Hence why Fab suits me for now.

I think I am now. And if I think about it too long it makes me very depressed.

It is hard to date with health issues anyway but it's getting harder month on month.

I honestly think there will come a point where it will be a major issue and then I will have to take charge of my health for good.

I much prefer single and in control. I have a super life and do what I want and not in a selfish way, just ad hoc and spontaneously..

I have an amazing circle of friends and never feel alone or lonely.

Relationships are brilliant but if it’s not one that works for you, then it’s best to be single and do what makes you happy..

I don’t really know what to say.

I had past relationships that didn’t go well or when I did feel comfortable around someone I was in the friend zone. I started to develop the mentality that nice guys always get shit on so yeah I’m gonna be alone because I’m a nice guy.

I don't think anyone is destined to be alone. But it's hard to find someone who accepts you for who you are when you like the swingers world and they are not into it at all or open to try .

I'm generally desperate to be alone rather than destined! I'm single but always surrounded by people (both kids and adults)! I like my own company and no desire at all to couple up.

Kindred Spirit, I love company so often , that although I live alone , I hardly get a moment to live the silence as I calll it, very occasionally nice to have a good friend to stay that you can’t wait to wake up beside , and kick the fecker out because your used to breakfast silence lol

I do like cuddles but I have friends and 'special' friends for that so I wouldn't cuddle up with just anyone from here. I'm aware that makes me sound horrible! I just feel very awkward cuddling up with a relative stranger. That's a different thing from sex for me

Oh I get ya

I'm a bit different with company as in all I want is to see my kids more often.nuw at their age they are now going to parties so I hardly see them

Company is nice and when we want it then you can't get it n it's summit I can deal with.

Understandable, real affection can be separated from sex , am inclined also to seperate play from making love , and you cuddle after making love , long convoluted way of agreeing with you lol

I can relate to this, my loss was within the last 6 months - I now have an emptiness that at times is very hard to deal with.

For all you can have close family and friends, you can never replace the one that was as much part of you as you were of them.

It's the empty spaces where once there was happiness, light, joy that hurt the most.

You can fill those spaces in many ways, but in the end they will never truly be the same. They will always be tempered by the past.
