Things You remeber About Your Kids That Make You Happy.

I miss my kids everyday, they stay with the ex but I always make myself available for them but now they are at an age that they're too old for me.

This is not just a post for people who have kids but can be if you have nephews, nieces etc.

Was just thinking of my kids and things that made me happy.

I remember at Euro Disney for the first time, they entered the park and seen the castle in the distance and both faces were a picture.

Holding my son and daughters hand ready to cross the road to take both to primary school, both held my hand tightly and looking at me in trust. Best feeling in the world.

Watching my son lifting the cup final trophy as captain for his team at Airdrie's ground.

So folks, do you remember any things that just make you smile thinking of your kids, nephews, nieces etc...

Its always the big moments that stand out for me ,their first day at school, going a bike on their own, learning to swim, christmas when they believed in santa ,all bring a great smile and really good memories, just seems minutes ago but my son is now 34, jeez life really does fly by

While all the big milestones are important and I won't ever forget them, for me it's all the daft things that they've done. Like the time we took our oldest to see Finding Nemo at the cinema. She sat and watched the whole thing and as the end credits started she started crying and was inconsolable. Why? Because Nemo got lost

Kids logic at its best lol.

I was a very proud mum on Sunday, even though I was rough as anything but watching my laddie score 2 goals in a cup game for our local team. My heart was bursting!!! my kids are still young, I’m sure there are loads more proud moments ahead but it’s just a shame that Santa believer has grown up this year. Xx

Two wonderful daughters and many many fantastic memories ,One Christmas I got them Harry Potter Studio Tickets, my youngest wept uncontrollably, makes the sick poo and insomnia worth it

The first time they said they loved me, or their first sentence. Never forget my oldests 3 and a half and finally he was copying my words.. nice.. nice.. to.. To.. meet.. NOPT.. meet.. meet.. you.. you. His happy smiling face awwwh why did he have to grow up.

My daughter? About a month before her 2nd birthday 'Mummy want my booby.'

My ex and I were having a banter tyievrow in the kitchen my then 3 yr old stamped in , hands on hips and proudly shouted ...”what the fucks sake is going on here !!!”

Attempted not to double up laughing there and then

Curbed my language around her afterwards

My kids still are kids. But two things that make me smile thinking back both involve there dad.

My son could only say a few words at the time and every morning he woke up he would shout his dad so he start shouting dad dad dad dad. His dad woke up and said in a wee minuite and my son starting shouting look look dad dad look look so his dad looked up and there was a massive spider on the wall right above his head. He's terrified of spiders so he slapped my arse n jumped out of bed screaming and my son pissed himself laughing at him.

My daughter it was when she wanted something off her dad she would try say please daddy but instead it came out peas peas daddy it was so cute and she had him wrapped round her little finger lol

I loved all mine as new borns..always makes me smile ..maybe that's why I had 4 haha ...I would have 1 more if I had the space haha

Checking out a new guitar in a cool music shop, doing my best to look supercool, when my son 5yrs old at the time announces to the whole shop "When my Daddy eats mustard he gets a hot bottom". Brought the house down and boy was my face red, cracked the wife right up.

The boy once asked if he could have a drink I said of course what do you want? He said can I have some cat juice so I go what the hell is he on about. Show me what you mean buddy. It’s crusha the milkshake has cats on the front of it

First time I took my son to Blackpool on a September weekend.

He would be about 2 and was potty training.

Carrying him on my shoulders as we turned into the promenade and he saw the Illuminations for the first time

I have 5 kids so i have lots I have 2 of them that are classed as disabled

My oldist just makes me proud every day my proudest moment was when she started doing work at st Andrews uni at 12 and also when she started college at 15 shes mu smart cookie

2nd kid fave moment was at her qst bday party was so good 2 see her that happy

My oldest boy has over came everything he walked when they said he wouldn't took him.2 4 but he did it he talked at 3 and he started mainstream school at 5 and this year he went to main stream high school and proved every single day u cant spell disabled without the word abled

My middle boy hes my tech head and hes just so funny he once told me the sunset was a lovely screen saver to the sky haha

My youngest is just nuts and makes me smile and cry often he fights hard to work past his disabilities every day hes done so much I'm proud of but learning to write his name with low moter skills was a very proud moment xxx

When my Dad died 12 years ago my kids found a birthday card in the house and made their own sympathy card for me. They were 6, 8 and 10 at the time.

I still enjoy family nights at the cinema with them to see the Marvel movies or anything else we all want to see. They may be adults now but it’s still fun to go out together while we can.

My kids may not be studying for degrees but they have achieved their own milestones of which I am proud.
