I work in a job that i have to be discreet so havent put up a pic,do you need one on here if i have been verified,so difficult getting people to acknowledge without an initial pic. I do send once i have chatted.Is it a matter of patience?

i am exactly the same. Have pictures on profile that i am more than happy to show once we have made contact! Its not that i have anything to hide. Just because of my job.

i know we tend to ignore the profiles without pics because its just one more way to filter who we are going to play with. we don't expect a face pic but plenty of other ways to take a pic. there are so many single guy profiles on here with pics that i think you are just making things harder for yourself? i think everybody on here needs to be discreet for one reason or another and how recognizeable are you from just a body shot?

As the poster above has said you could take a body shot of some description something is better than nothing at all you , never know you may even get mailed for the body pic too you can always keep face pic in private xxx

How about pics after you have edited them with Picture Editor?... you could mask the eyes for instance.That way you show but yet not enough to be instantly recognised.

Have you got facebook?

If so, in your public gallery (visible by all except those blocked) put up pictures (face obscured) that you have on facebook (obviously as long as they are within the photo rules).

Then, in your private gallery (for those on friends list only) you could put up body shots (masking out any identifiable marks, tattoo's etc). Leave your face pic so you can mail it out if needed.

This way, if you were 'recognised' and confronted at work you just look all shocked and say 'well those pics are on my Facebook/Flickr etc account, someone has stolen them and stitched me up'.

Good idea but what if his boss turns roond and says tae him "But yir an ugly bassa, whod want tae steal youre photies??"

Apart from the odd few who genuinely dont care who knows them none of us want to be recognised as most of us have kids jobs not to mention friends nieghbours etc.

exactly find it funny the ones looking for discretion yet have face pix all over their profiles hmmmmmm bit strange lol

where i dont have my face pics directly on my profile my avatar is a masked pic and my main profile pic with the corset is actually my facebook profile pic so for anyone whos paying enough attention im instantly recognisable, not only do I have a really good job but I also have kids and often go on cam, face only. I am single therefore free to do as I choose, im not hurting anyone by being on here and unless i was doing something outrageous or illegal its none of anyones business what I get up to, id expect anyone chatting to me to at least make the effort of a torso pic, not necessarily a face pic but certainly not a cock pic(ew does nothing for me )

everyone will have their own opinions on this but if im willing to put myself in the picture id expect someone im meeting to the same, as a gneral rule most guys who dont have pics and cant accomodate = playing away and thats not an option for men i want to meet

this does my head in! Oh my job this my job that! So what?everyone is in the same boat here...we all have jobs.families. Blah blah . Very few have face pics on their main profile.i agree with most if a profile has no pics i delete simple not worth my time if there not willing to put something on their profile Auds

i agree with the last post. dont know of many employers, families or neighbours who know folks are on here so the vast majority need to be discreet. happy that folk dont have a face pic in their public gallery but wont answer messages if guys havent sent a face pic - and we always return one. this isnt blind date so there has to be some sort of click and face pics are a starting point - for us anyway

probably in 99% of cases you can substitute wife/girlfriend for job

I ask for face pics for the following reasons:

1. It helps to prove if a profile is serious about meeting. usually profiles without face pics just want to chat or are into cyber or waste time.

2. some profiles are nothing like what they say they are. For example, a guy can describe himself as athletic but is very obese and much older than what he looks like. A pic helps to sort this.

3. Plus, if I'm doing groups I need to know what these men look like as it's not just for me, but for someone else. And who im answering mr door to.

No one really cares what anyone else does for a living.

Guys body pics don't anything for me. They could have been taken years ago. I know what a dick looks like, so I don't need to see dick pics either.

Exactly, Thats the gamble. I wouldn't expect a sniff if i had no pics to share. Nor would i consider a meet without seeing (at the very least) a pic first.
