Maybe it's just me being a bit prudish.... Bit the lack of discretion I have seen latley is rather off putting....In forums....in chat .... Anyone else find it off putting.... It's actually put us off playing with people we know and have played with before....

Discretion is definatley lacking around here for sure both in the forums and in chat..but hey i guess its a good thing in a way because it shows people what some are like declaring who they have shagged or are going to shag helps make informed choices much easier for the rest of us lol

discretion ought to be paramount. especially in small communities like Scotland! i haven't noticed anyone kissing and telling in the forums but i am sure it happens.

Agreed sue some of it is just banter but for some its an ego boost to say ohhh ive met so n so or going to meet so n so ..i too now keep my verifications hidden from prying eyes but for some its a glorified way of bamming themselfs up by the glowing verifications some have written about them

to be honest i really dont care what people think, theres always someone else i can play with..

tere are varying levels of discretion but for me thats more something for outside of fab..I'm not gonna bump into someone on the street and proclaim how they sucked my cock fuckin amazingly when they are with someone.

I get HIGHLY fucking irritated by some attitudes to what discretion is on FAB, such as verifications,pics etc etc

Nothing wrong with banter inuendo etc at all in our book, its all part of the thrill/chase for many, including ourselves.

But when you start to see the chat between folks that just looks like bragging rights on where they have been and who they have met, especially when its non stop every time they are in chat. It kinda makes you think would we actually meet them if they would do the same with us after a meet?

Just my two cents on it.

I agree that this is a serious issue. One person's lack of discretion could cause embarrassment to so many and it is NO fun being 'outed' no matter for what or on which site - people ought to respect others' sexuality and allow them to 'come out' to who they want at a time suitable to themselves.

And yes, I HAVE seen it happen on more than one occasion and know the 'victims' to have been deeply concerned..

I tend to keep it to myself who i have met and not met as i don't want anyone knowing my private business. On the forum's it's all about harmless flirting. However there does seem to be a lot of underhand bullying and bitching going on, some people do need to grow up and realise it is all adult harmless fun.This site is meant to be FUN!!

All i can say is i agree with jo about descretion and the lack of it on here and that with my verifications no matter what i get up to with the person concerned ill say i had a lovely coffee and thats all you nosey fuckers need to know lol you dont need to know all the nitty gritty details lol and in my opinon i think its sleasy when i see some of them .

me either bren lol but MY point is judging others verifications isnt on...judging who someone else plays with in what manner they play isnt on.They are only a guideline on some possible meets ability to be good for the reason to meet them.

Thats correct, but at same time i find them distastful and shouldn't be so graphic, but as you say that is the other persons choice.. but it would however put me off meeting that person.

I show my veris but I never have liked the explicit ones pmsl. There is a huge lack of descretion but i guess it's differnent from person to person. Some people like to keep things quiet and some don't. I would rather someone not let the whole site know how great my bj skills are or whatever (i'm fooking great anyway) As for chat I have kinda gone off it lol....no doubt i will be back when i find my banter again

we all hope that the people we meet on here are trustworthy not going to tell all and sundry your business but then when you dont take measures to protect yourself then what do you expect ? ive lost track of the amount of people talking in chat about where they live,where they work about their family lifes if people dont want others to talk about them then make sure you protect all your personal details before joining a site like this

on the flipside of the overly graphic verification - the other person surely has the opportunity to display or not display the verification. If they find it too graphic then they dont have to show it, and could always contact the other person and say something to them?

BUT.... discresion is very important to everyone, regardless of job, religion, race, sexuality etc

In full honesty verification wasn't one of things I was talking about....

It's more the bragging about meets in detail.... Talking about meets when the other member involved isn't even in the room, making it obvious who you have met in an overly tacky way where you can feel people cringe n roll there eyes....obviously if u don't use chat you won't see this happening....

Discretion at socials a whole other subject... Don't think I even wanna start on that subject....

Crikey, a right old can of worms been opened. Still refer to our previous response, discretion and respect paramount. But to add another twist, we do have veri's on show, our choice. None of them we believe say anything expicit. What they do say is they had an enjoyable time with us, that's all. But, it also let's any future meets see the type of people we enjoy meeting.

well i dont think ive done that, but of course I might have said who Id met at the weekend(particularly if its on my verification), i wouldnt go into any detail or anything like that.

But if two(or more) people are talking or 'bragging' about their past meet(s) with each other and people decide this is disrespectful behaviour I sorta question he validity of it being something private to be shared between the people concerned only.

How many have watched meets on cam...its publicly shown on fab by them?

and as we all know...certain ppl clique together as if separate from the rest of the site , then moan when ppl they dont know start the same types of conversations with eachother.

think what i meant steve was those complaining about discretion but blatantly disregarding the fact that they sometimes break the boundaries themselves unless its with people they know well or have met, and somewhat expect others to be quiet and not talk about their swinging experiences without feeling judged or being deemed worthy of a met with any prospective onlookers

one man's meat is another man's poison. we have veri's on show and also know some of the guys we have met have in turn been contacted and got other meets on the back of the veri; not i think because of the content but because if nothing else it proves to the couple they aint a timewaster. we also check a potential meet for veri's for that very reason. as has been said already it is our choice to show them and if people dont want to read them then dont scroll down the page - therefore the discretion is our choice to have or not, by choosing to show them or not.

However, as for the chat i totally agree - i would be very unhappy if anyone we had met started discussing it in the chatroom, not only coz i dont want everyone and their granny to know about it nor do i want to listen to other folks exploits, just as i hate the directing that goes on. the chat is there for exactly that - a laugh, a bit of banter - FUN!!

Unfortunately on FAB, as in all walks of life everyone will have different views on what constitutes discretion

Personal attacks against other site users aren't allowed, even if you don't name them. If you've got a problem with someone on the site, block them. If you've got a problem with what someone writes on the forum just skip over their messages or report to admin if you think they need to take action.

Copied above is one of the forum rules, as you can see, it states you can't be personal about someone even if you don't name names.

If someone has been banned and don't agree with it, they need to contact Admin from the CONTACT button. If the ban is a wrong ban, it will be lifted.

No one else need be involved.

someone was banned today an had their post removed for voicing their opinion no rule break as far as i saw .

ye i heard same jacs , but i seen he never named anyone or any thing an who was to know what or who he was talking about ???????

exactly what this post is about ..... discrection .... pmsfl @ that when ones opinion is not allowed to be voiced and no names mentioned bring bk the banned one !!!!!!

after all he was discrete by not mentioning name or names on post ....

but this is what weve been saying it seems like one rule for one person and one for another if you read up this forum post you will see a comment thats been made not naming names but in the same context so why was one banned and the other not ?

I know what jo means, there have been times in the chat rooms where people just brag an talk about what they have done or will be doing and it's different than the normal banter, it actually makes you feel uncomfortable and leave the room
