Took my kilt on holiday a few years back with a couple of my mates

ffs, some women just didn't give a feck about anything else when they seen the kilt, they didn't even give a shit who was earing it or who I was

I didn't complain though, well actually I did. If your on holiday at a party etc.. and you wanna chill for 10 minutes wearing a kilt, good luck.

Personally as Scotsman, I wear the Kilt traditionally but as growing up when other nations wore the Kilt, English, Irish, it wasn't a big deal if they wore something underneath.

It was mainly the Scots guys who go lynched if they worse something underneath.

So very true. Prepare to be sexually assaulted by many groups of d*unken women thinking it's 'just a laugh'. Y'know, like when a group of d*unken

men try to grope a woman... (sorry - but this is a bugbear of mine!)

I did wear a grey heavyweight kilt at a Glasgow social about 8 years ago and was chased round the venue by 6ft 4in TV and jezz kept trying to put a glowstick up it.

I guess it's more acceptable if it's a none tartan?

Any Scots that would take issue with you not being a Scot in a kilt are probably tossers.

Besides, Gordies are honorary Scots anyhow.
