truth in chat

Was in chat on Sat night and in came a guy that didn't mince his words ,basically when he looked at a cam the guy said it as he seen it.Loads got mega upset at this and eventually he got banned.So basically the point of this is would you rather folks looked at your cam and bummed you up to be this sex god/goddess just to try get a fuck at you? Or would you rather the truth be said and hear what loads of others are thinking? I know everyone sees each other in a diffrent light but surely each one of us has the right to say what we see rather than just bunm folks up .We accept people in the street with tourettes who say it as they think.what if this guy has tourettes and said it as he saw it ?

its a fine line between telling it as it is and being nasty for nastys sake if mods decided to ban him/her then the person must have broken a rule also could have been an existing problem between these two people that admin know about

I've banned people for being rude to others on cam.

At the end of the day, if you don't like what you see on someone else's come then switch it off and move to another one.

I doubt this guy would have done himself any favours in regards to getting himself a meet if he was being rude about people he had never met/spoke to before.

In his eyes though he was being honest and telling the truth ,surely we have freedom of speech to be honest with ourselve and others rather than just keep our mouths shut. He was in no way nasty but some just didn't like his comments . If someone looks at us and says sorry not my type or she is to large or he's a munter then surely we should have thick enough skin to take it on the chin as well as the nice comments we get. Or is it just about self esteem ?

My thoughts are if someone is not being nice then why say anything at all?... they know nothing about the person they are speaking about for a start they could be someone with very little confidance and this could be a very big set beck for someone who is trying to build on this ...so id say brain in gear first and think of the persons feelings your speaking about were not all super confidant people around here .

They woud never walk up to someone in a bar and say it so why do they think they can in here ?

So we sit in chat and hear all the wow you look awesome blah blah blah but in our eyes they are ewwwwwwwww so we can't have an opinion or others saying eWwwwwww we think wow. Christmas for example is a big topic In chat an openly discussed though it may not be a subject that some may like as is football and its aloud no matter who its pissing off. So what's wrong with allowing some truth and honest opinion if its not nasty ?and why would you be swinging if you have no self esteem ?surely if you are a swinger you should be able to take a bit of honest criticism ?or is this site really just an ego booster for some ?

I Agree.....

Sometimes just moving on is the best policy,and as kola has said there can be a defined line wether whats rude or taken in a fun gesture.

Suppose ,if everyone started speaking thier mind,im not too sure there would be a happy enviroment in whatever room you choose to participate in.

Ah I see this from 2 sides

I go into chat alot and yep it's 9 times out of 10 guys just looing at cams trying to get a shag!! To be fair looking at a cam with tits on on show and saying "oh my god you're gorgeous" is a bit tragic. Surely you need to see someones face!!

Also....If for instance I was to say to a guy na your not my type..You to big or to hairy or what a sad bastard you are sitting there wanking how many people would stop me On the flipside if a guy says it to a women he is chastised and banned. Us women and definatley more bitchy and hurtful but we do get away with alot more.

I am not all guys are nice with there chat alot are damm right rude and offensive. I have been called all sorts of crap on cam and I take it on the chin. A cpl called me a tranny one night...They got banned and pm'd me alot of crap saying I had got them banned etc!!. I actually thought it was funny...the measures some go to get attention is laughable at the best of times.

Good topic however and yes without being overly rude it is better to be honest in a tactful way or say nothing. xxxxx

My view is that if you are not keen on the person who is on the cam be it looks or nature etc then its simple enough to move on.

I just think that there are people who will speak thier mind no matter.

As for saying a woman has a nice set of breasts that shes showing off on cam, well how many women want to here nice comments? The same for the men saying they are on the cam showing off their cocks and before anyone says anything,no I dont bloody well look lol.... but women do make comment on what they see.

I totally agree with what you say i was in room when this guy started to mouth off regards the members usernames and that they didnt represent what they looked like the guy was way out of order and i took it upon myself to get a mod from one of other rooms to ban him,its a chat room for gods sake and should be enjoyable for all not a case of saying who is good looking and who is ugly,that guy must have something to hide as his cam wasnt on,must think he is brad pitt lol.

There is a difference between telling the truth , and being downright rude.

Think if he ended up being banned his comments would have fallen into the latter...... the first line of the rules reminder that appears states " be respectfull to other room users" .... sure you'll find his comments where far from respectfull.
