I think a dad body is one where men give up looking after themselves.. hey they are usually married get some sex (not much coz of baby) and put on a bit of weight.

The men usually eat what’s left on the kids plate and snack with the child.

That’s a dad body, a few pounds over weight and a chubby belly.

I know I used to have one, but lost it since the divorce lol

My kids are nearly 18 and I'm still chubby so don't know my excuse joking aside Im just lazy and love my foods too much to really care, when I can't see my feet (or my cock for that matter) and for every female that doesn't like it there will be another who does.... As for the beard that's personal preference

Personally I prefer a slightly softer body than rock hard abs and pecs. Broad shouldered, hairy chest, doesn't bother me if he has a bit of a belly.

I love the "before" photos of stars like Tom Hardy and Chris Pratt

If that's a "dad bod" then thats what it is.

I'm very rarely ever attracted to tanned, muscley, smooth chested men.

"Why do men have a dads body?. Never understood this as you did not give birth."

Because genetically men are programmed to put extra weight on around their abdomen whereas women tend to put it on on their ass and thighs.

What are your talking about regarding giving birth?? Giving birth does not automatically mean anyone puts weight on around their abdomen or anywhere else, it merely means the abdominal muscles are stretched. Seriously daft post!

I think age comes into it too. Not so easy as you get older to be cramming hours in the gym depending on what else is happening in your life. I try to stay fit and still actively participate in sport as well as coach but it’s harder to stop a few extra pounds appearing.

Unless you have someone helping you out with some extra excercise.

Yup get abit winter fat when all your time is taken up with work and family. Years ago I was a jujitsu champion in the navy running nearly every day. Now I like biscuits.

I have a ‘dad bod’ and I’m proud of it.

I’m reasonably fit as I have to be for work, however, I don’t go to the gym so I’m ‘squidgy’ in places.

Some like it. Some don’t. It’s the same for everything. There will always be people who like something and those that don’t. It’s what makes the world go round.

So ladies, be proud if you have a ‘mum bod’ just the same as guys should be proud of their ‘dad bod’. There’s enough people around who will like us all for who we are not to worry about it
