I want people to name their favourite song the one that gets in through rough times and good times the one that they can turn to and sing like nobody is listening and bring a tear to their eye

Sorry didn’t really know where to put this on so I’ve put it in the Scotland chart

Looking forward to hearing your responses

Bright Eyes - played at my twin sisters funeral when they carried her in and out the church... also West Life seasons in the sun, also played at my sisters funeral (her fav band at the time) a verse is goodbye Michelle, which is her name, so had everyone in the church in floods.. I then had to follow that song to say a few words about her... was only 23 at the time so very difficult. Still gets my chocked up if hear both songs.

PERTH

Can't narrow it down to just one, but:

These Times by SafetySuit - listen to it a lot during difficult times and it really gets me, the video is amazing too

Heal Over by KT Tunstall - listened to it extensively when my marriage broke up. Saw her live a few months ago and when she played this I was in bits

When The Fog Rolls In by Train - could have been written about a breakup I went through

Missing by City and Colour - the lyrics were read as a poem at a friend's funeral and a bit of it is engraved on his headstone

Christina Perri - A Thousand Years

Life goes on no matter how our life twists. Take a tear and keep it forever, you never know when you will look back and realise it was meant for you. Listen to your heart and take that step into the unknown, that step might be everything you could wish for, only you will know
