Or has fab gone through some worm hole or weird space time continuum ?

I’ve been a member since 2007 and at the start of the year deleted my profile...but came back (as you do..don’t you?)

What I have noticed since I have returned is a total bilwildering fuckery by muppets..I mean what’s going on??

The site seems to have been infiltrated by horrible nasty people. I haven’t changed neither has my likes (ok I’ve put on a stone since 2007) but dear me it like the French Revolution (which I am a fan of...apart from

Robespierre who was bit of a dick)

There seems to be a new world order that has talken Over this once fun site.

I’m sure many people reading this will think I’m a dick (that’s fake news folks , I’m actually a nice bloke ((not my words))

Any how any one any ideas ?

Think cos it's a bit more common knowledge than it used to be that it does attract a lot of dicks..

Mind you I might be classed as one of them by many

Hey Monsieur Crowley,

I’m actually in a very similar situation to your own. I’ve been kicking about here (and maybe one or two other similar sites, shhhh.....don’t tell anyone!) for more than a few years, creating a deleting profiles as life has taken me in different directions.

Since 2005-ish, I’d agree that the vibe of sites like this has indeed changed. The membership has expanded and the layman is much more aware thanks to newspaper articles and TV programmes.

With great numbers comes great fuckwittery.

I’m inclined to believe that to find the pearls, couples will have to sift through more swine, which is presumably going to change their outlook and attitudes to the casually messaging Singleton.

The change in the forums is just unbelievable though....

I think a lot of people join to fulfill a porn fantasy or scratch an itch if you will (ie straight guy sucking ts) and they expect that everyone will play by their rules as it is their game and no one else's (in their mind at least) and when things don't go their way they turn nasty.

A friend of mine joined this and similar sites whilst she was training to be a sex and relationship psychologist, she did a paper on the dark side of online sexual hookups.

I think Fab can be a sounding board for people's frustrations who have an obvious chip on their shoulder. I don't engage with these people whose rhetoric is full of spite. I prefer to seek out positive folk in my life. However there are lots of genuine, decent folk on fab too and I have met several of them.
