Not a good idea to mention it whilst she is at work.

Would be totally disrespectful to mention to her when she's working.

Do not message her while you are a patient especially if she is working in the area you are being cared for

Message her on site for sure... she could help with your recovery and you could help make her shift feel more worthwhile! Good luck

Cafe is different, coming from a family of nurses wait till you’re put the hospital.

People have lives away from Fab and often wouldn't want to mix their career with the site. Unless a profile says it should be a general rule not to approach someone in public or their workplace. Shows a massive lack of discretion.

If you're going to message then at least send a clear face picture with it so she knows who you are too

Unless she's kicking about in a Carry On uniform I'd probably give it a miss.

There is this little thing called discretion...try using it ...the lady may very well be on here but she has a job to do ..leave her to do it ...just because she is on here doesn't mean she wants pestered in everyday life

Being in the healthcare profession and had one instance of this before, I wouldn't say it's unwelcome in the workplace. I think it's enough just to drop the word "fab" into conversation a few times and see if there's a flicker of recognition.

Obviously don't dive in feet first and ask her if she's on the site. Just a little bit of a nod and a wink, metaphorically speaking, could well open doors.

Leave your device open on fab for her to see, she can then decide whether to mention anything. As everyone else has said, keep it seperate.

Poor you stuck in x-house!

And if I was going to be untruthful I think I would have made the story alot more exciting. But that's as far as it goes I'm afraid. Some people on here quick to call people liars think that are the ones who _pin the yarns numpties. Anyway not often come across a situation like this so thought it was worth sharing. Sorry it wasent exciting enough for some. And as for the ones calling me a liar. Oh enough said about them. Seen them on before criticising other people's post. Looks like issuses to me . Try chill a bit . Have a good day to all you other nice people

Deffo not cool to approach someone at their place of work. Leave it a couple weeks until you're out then message.

.

It's being courteous and discrete to keep worklife separate to fablife.

Especially in certain professions, those folk have their careers at stake if you go jeopardising that professionalism.

.

Get well soon!

Never approach someone at their workplace. Never a good idea. Remember if you are a patient in hospital the 2 should never mix

3-4 years ago someone kept posting early morning meets at stobhill, suggesting they were horny nurses they must have been swamped with messages.

Not everyone wishes to play at work, it can get very messy

Nothing mention at her workplace. All messages done via fab. Her name not mentioned as to protect her. Might come to something might not. Amazed how it pissed some sad ppl off on here. But they are the minority. And ones who like to moan about most people's messages. . But the point was to the rest of you nice people it that in your everyday life that you can rub shoulders with someone from fab and never even know in all walks of like. From sitting on train or being in hospital. . And even if she doesent decide to meet out with work her name will still.be protected.

Not sure what's so unbelievable about this story. He got a hint a nurse was on Fab. He left his phone open on Fab. She dropped a hint she knew what it was. They now message. Who on Fab has the right to take the piss just because they don't believe a story. ?

Unless she has sexy nurse Fiona fab superstar on her badge, I'd say nowt to her, she conducts her private business on fab where she is free to have the power to choose who she speaks with, choosing to speak with people she likes sexually and mentally, you might not fall into that category in which case would make things quite awkward for her to treat you or just work in the same ward, patient confidentiality and fab confidentiality go hand in hand!
