Hello peeps. I'm visiting Edinburgh next week, I'll only be there for Tuesday and part of Wednesday and I was wondering if anyone could suggest somewhere to go in the evening. I've visited before but not for a while.

Depends what you're looking for really.

Grassmarket is always good, rose street has just about every kind of bar you can think of. Haymarket has a few nicer places now as well.

There's a couple of nice gay bars that are popular with straight couples too-cc blooms and planet...both picardy place.near play house theatre.

So many things to do in Edinburgh depends what sort of things you want to do. Are you coming alone or with friends? Will you be partying or doing tourist attractions. I can tell you where best cocktails are served

I've been to Edinburgh before so I've done quite a bit of the touristy things.. I'm travelling with my fb but he's working and I'm not..

I will be doing the zoo Tuesday morning as missed it last time.

So ideally I'd love a social Tuesday afternoon and in a perfect world would like to meet a couple for a social in the evening, as we would both be free then. Thanks everyone x
