Morning everyone,

May seem like a strange idea... as a owner of two wee frenchies I’m obviously take them out on walks. Just thought those of us who have dogs and local to Livingston might like to walk together?

Be nice to have a dog walking social??

Doesn’t have to be local to Livingston... happy to travel to somewhere if a good place for everyone to get too.

Requirements would be somewhere for the pooches to be able to run round off lead and play in water to cool down... and a place for us to get a drink.

I think it's a great idea. But no dogs at the moment. I can bring my cat though, so all is well.

Some great walks here north Glasgow.

not in Livi but near by. Have an EB I walk regular and yes can be boring at times and often wondered about hooking up with other walkers.

You can hire my dog he's only available when I'm away for the weekend though lol

www.borrowmydoggy.com puts people in touch with each other. Not a one off borrow to get laid though, it's meant as an ongoing mutual arrangement.

Great idea, does the dog have to be real? I have one in the loft on wheels, doesn’t really like the water much but is very obedient and never makes a sound (apart from a little squeak from the rear left wheel)

I’ve always thought this would be a great idea, always considered posting this but specifically for Dundee area, it has the potential to be great. There must be a lot of people on here with dogs that walk everyday and the appeal of not only a social for the humans but the dogs is great, I personally have two and they can’t get enough of big walks up the sidlaw hills or monifieth beach. Hope you find a fellow dogger of the walking sort.

This is a brilliant idea. There are good tails up decky I normally take my dogs, but it is quite busy with other dog walkers.

2 of them are 11 now so can walk them as much as we use to! FBD are my favourite, I love their wee squishy face!!

Showed your pics to Harry, my pointer/collie and he’s desperate to go for a walkies asap. Stella, my Springer/Patterdale, isn’t so keen so fuck her, she can stay behind lol

Totally agree

You've also got Broadwood Loch, which is a great walk around, quite diverse as well. You also have the canal at boathouse and walk along to Twechar etc.. that is frequented by many dog walkers
