Twice now in as many weeks we have either been spotted by someone off FAB or think we have spotted someone off FAB.

The first encounter was at our kids rugby match and we were spotted by our now good friends but we were totally oblivious to it......

Last night at a charity ball we thought we noticed a couple but was not 100% sure......

Both occasions not the easiest to introduce yourself. Thankfully an email from the rugby match meeting set up a wonderful night of debauchery but last night nothing!

Surely the "swinging fraternity" should come up with a saying, a word a wee secret handshake to introduce ourselves!

Not the easiest way to introduce yourself on the dancefloor or standing beside a rugby pitch - "are you that couple off FAB?"

Suggestions please for this coded message we desperately crave!

Tell them you picked up the wrong keys from bowl at party last weekend, then gauge the face for fear or a glint in eye

Sounds like you need to revive the hanky code...

Personally, I would rely on a post on FAB the next day.

I was once out with work and someone came up behind me and said my fab username, it was quite unnerving at the time.

There used to be a lapel badge that was produced by one of the "used to be free" swinger sites that could only be bought by those attending munches. The run was about 1000 I'm sure so there must be some out there. We still have ours

I think a club also do one, Chams maybe?

Roma....being doing just that for a few years now......Walking down the street wondering "Do they swing or don't they"

Yes it can be funny.......

I work as a Door steward Friday and Saturday night and last week someone said I know you from somewhere........Was about to ask which websites she visits but a fight broke out and when I got back she had left....

Hiya ...Yes Chams do a "Club Badge" which is aptly a Chameleon as is recognised by Swingers all across the country...They had a brooch type one for ladies and just a normal pin badge type one for guys..

I work in a public place and come in contact with a large ammount of people.... I quite often see members of fabs some I know and they know me... Some I am friends with... Some don't know me but I recognise them....if we are on friendly terms we often say hello and have a quick chat.... Or just smile.... Those that I don't know I just look with a cheeky smile as I go past....

Only once had an akward situation but nipped that in the bud by telling them to shoosh.... Lol

Was in the etap hotel in Glasgow meeting a couple and during a lull we heard people in the corridor chanting fab, fab, fab. We opened the door and found a very attractive, and d*unk, couple giggling away. At least 4 other doors opened in the corridor and heads popped out, but we got them first lol. For those that don't know, the etap in Glasgow is THE hotel for naughty meetings . An effective but not subtle way of announcing your intentions.

There is a swing pin that is/was available - I came across it on another site.

Subtle tie pin, lapel pin sort of thing - very simple - which I thought was a great idea, but I have yet to meet someone wearing one.

"What did the symbol look like?"

It was a bit like yimg/yang, but just the out line, or if you prefer 69 made of open metal.

I did a search and you can see it on the web site.
