whats does amp mean?

At the risk of sounding clueless could someone explain what amp means when on someone's profile? Tried google and am now an electrical expert but still no idea what it means on fab. See it quoted repeatedly on some files 'amp:amp:amp' thanks!

It comes up now and again in replacement of emojis, it's a glitch. (and it does mean ampersand)
