Hazeldene hotel Gretna Green

We will be staying there the evening of the 7th of July. Anyone got an opinion of this hotel?

As far as I know, it's a decent hotel. I've not been in it so have no personal opinion, but that's my neck of the woods and anything friends say about it is positive (the joys of social media).

And the hotel from 4 in a bed, was it the Townhead Hotel in Lockerbie? (who coincidentally won it)

I’m afraid the rooms are seriously dated and basic, bed is like camping mattress, I left and went round to greens instead, food is good though, they should stick to running the bar!

Thanks for that, after a drive up from Southampton the good food sounds just what we need.
